for final fantasy do u think that it will go on xbox or stay on ps2?

I hope it stays with PS2 ... Xbox doesn't deserve FF. My opinion only. Wooooooooo!

To answer your question, the only console besides the PS2 that Final Fantasy is appearing on is the GameCube, and that's most likely the way it's going to stay.

Final Fantasy is so going to stay with PS2. The thought of it going over to XBOX makes me shudder. :mad: :) :D

Well actually, at least 'til here, they're done always 3 FF to every different console. I-III to Nintendo, IV-VI to Super Nintendo(Was it?... Correct me if I'm wrong) VII-IX to Playstation, and if the same continues, they do parts X-XII to PS2. But I've also heard a rumour that they may break the line in case of PS2, meaning they may do to it more than 3 FF :D

i think x-box deserves it, as long as it stays on pos2 i dont want to buy a x-box too cuz thats over $1000 (price for xbox and ps2 in canadian$$). as long as dvds are around ff can fit lots of stuff on em. hopefully x-box wont come out with new technology so then it stays ps2.

I heard the ff series is going to be on all 3 systems because Square lost tons of money of the Final Fantasy movie. I'm not sure if its true though. I don't care if it goes to GameCube as long as it stays on PS2 also but I REALLY hope it doesn't go on X-box.

I can't think of any reasons why FF would end up on Xbox. I was surprised when they announced it was coming to Gamecube because of the whole Sony owning some of Square's stock or something. I guess anything's possible though. I don't think I'd really mind if it did come to Xbox, since I've already got a PS2 and plan on getting an Xbox eventually (when i get the dough).

IF the FF franchise ever went to any other console the would be a real dumb move by square. Cuz #1 most of the FF fans are also Playstation fans. And #2, Sony own 19% of Square, making them the 2nd biggest owner of the company. So FF might go to another console but it will always be on Sony

X Box just sucks. Final Fantasy is also going to hell. I can't stand the fact they're putting it online. It's outrageous. So I'll just play good ol' 1 through 10. Play for free, is fine by me. In order to pay, is extremley gay. Hope that explains it.

Yea, I could care less where FFXI is going b/c I'm not gonna buy it anyway. I actually hope the game sucks so Square will be discouraged from ever doing something so stupid again.

Eventually, XBox will steal FF. I mean they kinda stole Crash Bandicoot (the mascot, how low...), they stole Oddworld (those games were funny and challenging :(), they stole Dead or ALive... They are gettig a MGS2 with added features even though the guy quit... So why shouldn't they steal FF? Plus Bill Gates has some money that maybe Square could accept as a bribe...

Really most people who have PS2 has FFX and MGS2... It's kinda wise and cheap to steal those games so more people would buy XBox to play it. I'd never though and I hope Square is smart not to disappoint us... (disappoint millions or excite 2?; choices...)

To tell you the truth I really hate x-box i think Bill Gates should stick with computers. And let sony do the job so i would hate for the ff series to go on any other system right now at least.

The XboX is a console that is not worth ur money (imo) so when FF goes to XboX I wouldn't buy one. I'm going to buy a PS2 for the remakes of FF6-9 and for FF10.

Xbox - Xbox has better equipment and you can connect it to your PC if you have 128k+ for online gaming free instead of crappy monthly fee's like PS2's soon to be realise.

Depends on what Bill Gates thinks hey he has the money he can give Square a big sum to buy rights to the Final Fantasy series. I think that there is a high probability that we will see FF coming to X-Box in the near future.
