I've just started my second game. I want to play it "right" this time. How many times have people played through by this point?

Just one 'complete' playthrough, but I've got multiple save files at various stages of the game. I'm one of those that tends to have multiple saved games going on simultaneously rather than simply 'do one playthrough, start again'. With me, it's 'do one playthrough, get to the Salikawood (or wherever) and get bored and start again, then get bored of that and return to my other file or start another new one'.

Pretty weird way of playing I know, but it works for me.

I'm a late bloomer, just to Feywood on my first run through. I do tend to do
a lot of different save files too(as a previous poster mentioned), as much for preventing bad purchases/license choices as tough battle failure. I hate it when I buy something I then next quest you get something better..etc.

I can see me doing some challenges after I do a complete run through. (all hunts.. sides..mini games) 122333, I think it's called, looks like would make me pull my hair out, however.

I did 2 playthroughs when the game was released. One was partly rushed (I did about 3/4 of the hunts) but like most FFs, my first game was to see the story.

Then I did my second (almost as soon as I completed my first one) but this time it was to get everything and level every characters to 99, all hunts, etc... But I don't have the guide so I probably missed on many things (mostly equipment) but I completed all the hunts, got all the magic spells, techs, etc...)

I'm concidering starting a new game soon. Right after I complete FF XII RW.
That game just makes me want to see the original game once more. ^^

Just the initial run so far, but I'll definately play it again. The removal of random encounters is this games defining feature.

The one I'm on now I would have to say is my third true playthrough. I'm not counting my speed-runs. And I missed out on a lot of things on both of the previous runs -- it's gonna be different this time. Despite having taken a break from the game for nearly nine months, I still have a solid memory and grasp of most major aspects and know what I need to do.

i just play for the story though, and if i wanna watch fmv's and such again there's always youtube

I'm still on my 1st play through and I am intent on completing it 100% or at the very least 90% :D

yeah the game is very time consuming. playthroughs take a while. espically 100 percent ones (mine was over 200 hours)

I just finished the first one over the Christmas holidays. I haven't played it a second time yet due to college taking over my life.
