Caught this off another forum that I browse, Ive seen them have posts ripped from here on there so I figure it is cool to do likewise (I dont post there, its all in spanish).

Anyway enjoy

I am very impressed that you managed to get a hold of this so early. Just listening over the whole thing as we speak; so far, so good.

I'm liking the use of tribal vocals and the epic sound seems nicely developed throughout, even though it's got some pretty subtle moments. I will keep my eyes out for the official release of this score (and movie, for that matter).

Thanks for the upload :)

Thanks for this.
For the official release, it's plan to get out on 11th March on DECCA.
For now no more news about it.

Far be it for me to be pernickerty...
It's HARALD KLOSER, not Harold Klouser.

And thanks for your upload, but boy, what a drab, generic score... :(

What happened to the glory days of David Arnold working with Emmerich?

Like Arnold would do much better?

Casino Royale was better than most of his efforts since Godzilla, but nothing special.

Harald Kloser is an extremley talented composer. Take a listen to his real magnificent excellent score for THE THIRTEENTH FLOOR (1999). Wow! Great Music. He recorded this score with the Nordwestdeutsche Philharmonie Herford in Germany.
I live near this city but didn't have the oppoturnity to get to the recording sessions. Just read about this project at that time. I hope also one day there will be complete versions of Harald Klosers scores to ALIEN VS. PREDATOR and THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW

I'm familiar with The Thirteenth Floor's score - it's a vague improvement over Kloser's drab American scores, but he remains generic, unoriginal, and boring.

And I'll be a happy man if not another note of the man's music is made available on CD. The Day After Tomorrow? That could've been a truly magnificent score, and instead it's droning chord progressions and banging percussion. Alien Vs Predator - total barefaced disrespect to the greatness that preceeded him...

Jerry Goldsmith... James Horner... Elliot Goldenthal... John Frizzell (ok, so Resurrection was pants,) and then... Kloser and Thomas Wanker?

Eh?

Casino Royale was better than most of his efforts since Godzilla, but nothing special.

Arnold's jobs lately haven't given him the opportunity to shine as he did in Stargate, Independence Day, and Godzilla.

I'm confident that if he were to attack the grand, orchestral genre again the results would far, far outweigh Mr Kloser's tribal nonsense.

I wouldn't mind getting my hands on the promo score to see the differences between it and the official release. I know it's a long shot, but a re-up would be nice.

If i recall correctly there was no difference; maybe less tracks on the promo than on the official, that s all
