Hey guys..I just want to let everyone know that I'm hard at work on the darkness rip..the last few days have been all fucked up..Some troubles on the home front..so the rip is taking me longer then originally planned..but I'm back on track and working on the rip...and because we are getting hit with a freaken blizzard i don't work..So it will give me a chance to spend the whole night on the rip...Cheers

They have the voice and music on the same track for that, but I think I might record it anyway..see if i can't do something about the dialouge..

Thought so, same with jenny's death scene.

In the game options, is it possible to lower volume of voice over and SFX to zero or something? If so then the Jenny's death scene problem and others would be solved, wouldn't they?

The voiceover and sfx are on the same tracks, in cutscenes msuic and sfx, including voices are same track. but ingame the voices sfx and music are seperate.

Alright, I just wanted everyone too know that I'm not going to have the the full rip done by wed/thur...i have been having what has to be one of the weirdest two weeks ever..i keep seeing the number 666 show up in all different and random places..i think the count for the last two weeks is up to 11 times total i have seen the number 666..and the thing is that within a few hours something shity happens.now, you may be asking "what the hell does this have to do with anything?''...well, this last sunday I saw 666 twice, Frist I was putting together a best of cowboy bebop cd for my buddy, I'm trying to get him into anime and videogame..i was burning some tracks and doing some reading when i glanced up and noticed just by chance that the track Ave_maria was 6.66mb..then a little later that day i was sitting on my bed listening to some tunes..when i glanced down..and what did i see, well, there was a book from the library laying on the floor most of which was under some papers, but the price on the back of the book was showing...99..now here is where it gets weird, about I would say two inches from the book was a cd case,Mozart's Requiem, and lined up perfectly with the numbers on the back of the book was track 9...but, both the cd and the book were upside down and turned around....that's right 666..Ok, so what went wrong you may ask..lol, after having spent about 4 hours working on the rip, my computer crashed on me and I lost all the audacity files I had just recorded..all of them. I then spent the rest of the day just trying to get my soundcard and computer to work again at all...so after hours of work i final got everything working right again..I again was trying to get some work done on the rip...I had just got done reripping all the tracks for chinatown and had got up to take a leak..when the power went out...man, I swear..so to make a long story short..I'm going to be spending all of tomorrow working on the rip..and will be uploading what I all have done on Wendsday for you guys..now that is if I don't die by then or God knows what else..so, sorry for the long ass post and sorry for the delay...and remember to say a prayer for me

well, i'm still alive..but, besides that, shit still sucks...more problems..alot of problems..Alright..i spent all of yesterday, about 11 hours working on the rip.and I have about half of the game rip thus far..I was going to be uploading 28 tracks in 4 parts for you guys..that was until my flash drive took a shit..which means i have to use my cheap mp3 player I bought for jogging to transport the files to work..but wait, that's barely working now...so I could only get two of the parts on the player..which I'm uploading as we speak.

I guess some people are simply not worthy of the awesomeness of The Darkness and Adam sessler is one of them. TD is indeed an underrated gem but the music in it goes beyond underrated or gem. It's a mindlbowing masterpiece and it's disasterous how it never was released officially.

hey guys..I'm wondering if it's worth the time to finish uploading the rest of my rip...because if you have not seen OrangeC has a new "final" version rip of the game that just popped up in the last few days..I have not heard it...But, I'm sure it's good. So i'm really wondering if there is any point to upload mine...I figured I finish mine for my own personal collection..I mean if OrangeC's is as good,if not better...overkill maybe

Well let me tell you that my rip is as complete as you can get, and scoured hrough every inch of the game. But it would be good for you to finish your rip just INCASE i missed any.

Now let me tell you the difference about your rip and mine so far.

Your action tracks start at an inproper loop point and end at an inproper loop point. Now according to how gustaf grefberg has his cores set up for other games. all tracks are same timeframe and do not loop over.

Your normal tracks are okay, although you missed some main menu cues. they are suppose to be five main menu themes in ttoal, you i think have 4.


Not that your rip is bad, yours is awesome quality, its just the wauy that is set up, im not a big fan of, so i just decided to spend a whle day on my version and it sems i nailed it this time. But mate, feel free to continue your rip, wouldn't want all that to go to waste, its your choice, but i would suggest you listen to my final version to get a better understanding.

I saw OrangeC had a finished version but to be honest i started this journey with your version and i would like to finish it i dont have the download limit to start downloading OrangeC's version but if you want to stop uploading i understand

And there's also a rap song that an idle delivery truck plays that I really want. I don't know if you know what I'm talking about but if and when you get any rap songs extracted let me know. ^_^

No dice on that..I no longer have access to the game..sorry..But check with OrangeC he made a rip of the game..he might have or be able to get that.

I will try to get everything re-up..But if you have not checked it out OrangeC did a rip of this soundtrack..I have not heard his so I can't say one way or the other on it..

Right i already did the ultimate final rip, no need for secondtooth to continue his. its over 1GB too.
