Hey everyone long time since last post well a lots happened since the last time i posted about dissidia im sure you all know the deal with that, can't wait to play it if you havent heard new characters have been announced being Squall, Firion, Ultimecia, and Emperor Mateus Palamecia and then of course theres the Warrior of light, Garland, Kuja, Zidane, and Sephy.

Anyways the reason im posting tonight is i wanted to share a more "Completed" verson of ideas and stuff from my last post about my FF ALL-star game im working on simply labled Final Fantasy Fighter...for now... i would really like some input from fellow fans on things i could add/remove//change for the overall Improvment of my game. Here i will post my Incomplete guide and if you want to help out just copy a character section and fill him/her out and post/send to me. There specials/Super/Unique are done already cept like 3 characters, I gave all characters there signature moves that best fit and play well with that character plus i tried to incorporate all attacks, Abilitys, Limits, Weapons, Magic, and Summons from Most of the Final Fantasys but if theres things i missed/dont have yet let me know i'd like to Fix it. I really spent a lot of time on thinking how there Specals/Super/Unique abilities i gave them would define not only that character but what was Innovative with that final fantasy he/she was from. like for example Vivi has Water Bubble as a Special, now many characters in the FF Games can use water attacks but Vivi was the First to use it in 3 Final Fantasys(none in 8 cept summon, only Geo and foe(s) in Tactics, enemy skill and summon in 7). Plus is the like the only variation that traps foe in bubble and smashes them into ground instead of the normal blast of upwards water or Tsunami in all other FF. with that said this is a long road but i know i can do it school is helping alot and im really focused on doing this and having fun.

Still have character moves,description to write out and better ideas/designs for Stages including stage changes, interactions, Bountries, Platforms,etc. Weight classes of Character and Attack priorities but I think those last Two can come later in animation Phase. still need to think a few thing out but enought was done to start Design. Not sure if Im going to sprite Game like Guilty Gear/Marvel vs. capcom Style or Hand Draw/Animate With Adobe CSC Flash Pro. started Character Concepts that include Full Body Portrait, Propective view of character features, Color Scheme, and Weapon for Reference later on got 23 cahracters done so far do like 4-6 on a good day so it will take quite some time to finish seeing as how theres 119 Characters (I know thats insane)and 60 Summons(!) to Draw plus Items,Stages,Menus and whatnot. Will also finish Game Guide which im going to post here sept for the Spriting in Guide that was just for fun although it does help out with visuals.... Have most stages picked as you'll see at bottomof guide, having some trouble with stage designs but have come up with some good ones as well which ill later post. Then i will have to Draw all characters in all Actions and Animate them in however way i choose... although now im thinking CS3 Flash drawing it would be faster, onion skining will help a ton and Free Scale will make scaling simple plus i can trace bitmit Image and create Color Templates for characters and use Fighter Factory to create Animations, add effects and such. Action-Script wel....lol ill need help with that def. ive only wrote scripts for simple Flash games like Tetris, Pong, Chess, and Galaxian. Ill learn soon enough in school how to better Script....oh and for some reason none of the pics will copy over...to bad have Character protraits for all next to Name:( and a lot of things got messed up i spent like a hour just trying to fix my posted Guide so bare with me K. oh this is a good time to mention this is EXTREMLY LONG










Final Fantasy Fight

Controls>>>>>>

Directional's: Moves Character in that direction, up makes character jump, down will make character duck, Left and right move side to side.

- Forward, Forward will make character Dash Forward.
- Pressing Up again during a Jump will make character double Jump.
- Pressing Down again in air will make character fall faster.


Attack Button(A): Causes Character to Attack.

- Pressing Attack Button(A) will do basic attack, Characters combo this

- Pressing (A)+ Tapping/Holding Right/Left will cause character to use a aimed attack in that direction. certain characters combo this.
- Pressing (A)+ Tapping/Holding Up will unleash a Upward attack as well (A)+Holding/tapping Down which unleashes A downward attack.

- Pressing(A) + Pressing/Smashing Right/Left will cause character to attack with a Fierce Smash Attack in that direction.
- Pressing(A) + Pressing/Smashing Up/Down will unleash a Fierce Smash attack in that direction.

- Dashing and pressing (A) will cause character to use lunging attack.

- Pressing (A) when standing over and item picks it up.


Guard Button(G): Blocks, parry's or reflects attacks

- Pressing AND Holding Guard Button(G) will cause character to defend him/herself from attacks
- Blocking Physical attacks causes NO Damage, BUT blocking magic and Special attacks still damages a little.

- Pressing (G) + Right/Left will cause Character to "Dodge/Evade" in that direction, while "Evading" character cannot be injured.
- Pressing (G)+ Right/left in Air will cause character to Air Maneuver in that direction.

- (G) Cancels/Stops Grabs from Foes.



Special Button(S): Uses Characters "Special Abilities"
Four Specials Per Character:
- (S) Button
- (S) + Right/Left Directional
- (S) + Up Directional
- (S) + Down

-Certain Specials/Magics have to Charge to use.
-Certain Specials can be combo'd into and out of.



Super Button(SUPER): Unleashes Characters Super Ability when Brave Guage is Filled.
- Starts off Empty
- Most Supers Must Charge First before unleashed.
- Supers Become more Powerful when HP is Critical.

Super Guage Fills//Gain Brave Pionts when Character:
- Hit by Foe(s) Attack - least fills
- Hits Foe with Attack - second most
- Taunts Foe - the most fill
- Items - varies

Super Guage Drains when Character:
- Using Special Attacks
- Stands Still for a timed period
- Items



Grab/Throw Button(T): Grabs Foe and Holds Them.
- Pressing (A) while Holding Foe with Character's will Attack/Rapidly Attack foe.
- Pressing Right/Left will Throw Foe in that Direction.
- Pressing Up will throw foe Upwards.

- While Holding Item, if (T) is pressed character will throw item.



Unique Button(Unique): Unleashes Characters Unique Ability when Pressed and Characters Gauge is filled.

-Unique Ability's Change depending on which Final Fantasy your Character is from or for that certain Character, May be another Super Attack, Summon, MagicBooster, Etc.

- Starts off 50% Full
- Most Unique Abilities Must Charge First.
- Unique Abilites That have to Charge first will charge faster when HP is Critical.

Unique Guage Fills//Gain AP when Character:
- Blocks Attack(s) - least fill
- Blocks Special(s) - second most
- KO's Foe(s) - the most
- Items - varies

Unique Ability Drains when Character:
- Taunting Foe
- Getting KO'D(back to 50%)
- Items



Back Dash Button(BD): Makes Character Dash/Jump Back Quickly while still facing the same direction, Evasive Maneuver.


Taunt Button(Taunt): Characters Tuants Foe affecting Brave/Unique Guage.

Charging: Charging can be used for Several Things:

- Smash Attacks((A) + Pressing Directional) - Inputing and Holding this will make Character Freeze in place and charge attack he/she would normal do, the longer its held the higher the attack and Knockback.

- Specials/Magic
- Imputing and Holding Certain specials Will increase its attack
- Magic/Magic Specials can be Held, this will change the distance of attack depending on Character

- Supers Some Will Occur Right away when (Super) Button is Pressed depending on Character, but most must be Held/Charged Up untill Guage Shines then Super is ready to use, then Occuring once button is released.

- Unique Abilities Same as Supers.

- Items depending on the item, some can be Charged to use.

Hero Trail - Restores 1/2 AP//Unique Guage.
Hero Drink - Fully Restores Characters AP//Unique Ability Guage.

Holy War - Puts Status "Oversoul" on Character.
Moon Curtain - Puts Status "Regen" on Character.
Light Curtain - puts Status "Protect" on Character
Lunar Curtain - Puts Status "Shell" on Character
Chocobo Feather - Inflicts "Haste" on Character.
Chocobo Wing - causes Character to "Float" off ground.

Water Gem - Thrown, Hits foe with Water Blast.
Fire Gem - Thrown, Hits foe and Burns them.
Ice Gem - Thrown, Hits Foe and May Freeze.
Lightning Gem - Thrown, Hits foe and Paralyzes them.
Shining Gem - Thrown, Hits Foe with Holy energy.
Shadow Gem - Thrown, Hits Foe with Dark energy.
Supreme Gem - Thrown, if hit causes "Flare" Magic to be unleashed.

Beam Sabre :) - weapon, Character weilds the Powerful Beam Sabre.
Zodiac Spear - Thrown, if Hit causes big damage plus "Weak" and "Curse" status is inflicted.
Odin's Sword -
Ultima Weapon - weapon, Characters weilds the most Powerful Weapon of ALL.
Smoke Bomb - Thrown, creates Smoke clouds.
S- Mine - Thrown, if touched by anything after set, explodes.
Dark Matter - Thrown, Super Powerful Magic Attack on Foe(s).
Frag Grenade - Thrown, Basic Grenade, explodes on Contact.

Gold Hourglass - Thrown, if Hit causes "Slow" Satus on Foe.
Silence Grenade - Thrown, if hit foe(s) are inflicted with silence.
Confuse Mallet - Thrown, if hit Foe becomes confused.
Poison Fang - Thrown, if hit Poison's Foe.
Petrify Grenade - Thrown, Turns foe to Stone if Hit.
Dream Powder - thrown, if hit causes foe to fall asleep.

Summon Materia - Thrown, unleashes a summon for varied effect, Materia is colored coordinated with Summons.

Accessories: - Items that stay with/on Character for remaining Life

Running Shoes - Increases Movement Speed of Character.
Jump Boots - Increase Characters Jump Height.
Ribbon - Repeals Negative Status effects.
Bracer - Increases Character's Attack Power.
Hyper Crown - Increases Characters Magic Attack Radus, making them bigger.
Genji Armor - Character Slowely Regenerates HP.
Genji Helmet - Characters BP does not Drain when using Specials, Slowely Regenerates BP.
Genji Armlet - Characters AP slowly Regenerates.
Reflect Ring - Character relflets all projectiles.
Protect Ring - Characters Defense is Doubled.
Rebirth Ring - Adds "Auto-Life" Status to character.

- Shell - Characters Magic defense increases 50% for timed period.
- Haste - Characters movement Speed increases for timed Period.
- Aura - Character Super Guage Slowly Increases, Specials dont deplete Guage for timed period,
- Float - Character Floats Above Ground for timed period.
- Lightweight - Characters Jump increases for timed period.
- Oversoul - Characters Attacks, Specials, and Super attack power increase Greatly for timed period.

Negitive Effect(s):

- Stunned - Character is Frozen in place for very short period, cannot do anything.
- Slow - Characters movement speed decreases for timed period.
- Silenced - Character cannot use Magic Specials/Magic Super for timed period.
- Poison - Character loses little HP when he/she attacks for timed period.
- Bleed - Characters HP drains slowly for short timed period.
- Burn - Characters HP rapily decreases for a stort timed period.
- Old - Characters HP drains slowly for long period of time, also installs "Weak".
- Immobilized - Character is Frozen in place for short timed period, able to attack.
- Paralyzed - Character is Frozen in Place for Timed period, cannot do anything.
- Sleep - Character falls alseep, wakes up after timed period/Hit
- Confused/Muddle - Character's movement controls are reversed for timed period.
- Stop - Character is stopped for timed period, stays frozen even if hit.
- Freeze - Character is froxen in block of Ice for long timed period/Hit.
- Mini - Character is Shrunked and Attack is weakened for timed period.
- Frog - Character is turned into frog, cannot attack only move/jump for timed period.
- Imp - Character is turned into a small Imp, Defense is weakened for timed period.
- Stone - Character is Turned into Stone, must rapidy press Right<>left to un-stone.

Summons

- Summons appear 2 Ways
1). Items_Magicite - color corrdinated for each summon. Not all summons have Magicite.
- Once Magicite is Picked up summon Appears and does attack/Ability and leaves.

2). Character Specials/Supers/Uniques - Summons Qui Appear and attack/use Ability then leave like Magicite

- Since Most summons are in multiple final fantasys ive picked the look that best fits them to design from, others i've used multyiple looks, this is what the "FF Look" column is for, like Ifrit he's had many looks but 3 stand out the most, his human-demi look from 4,5,6 and 7, his Beast look from 8 and X and his Demon look from 9 and since Garnet uses him as a Special its better to have differnt Ifrit adds depth.
