Been searching for these for a while, so I finally gave up; I threw together a complete rip of the soundtrack from the PSP port of Final Fantasy 1 and thought I'd share. Alongside a great rendition of the FF1 soundtrack are the extra dungeon's excellent reprisals of FFIV/V/VI boss music.

The OST is the same with Ff origins for the ps1, with minor new tracks.

This rip is significant because of the small boost in quality of the material samples, as well as the added new tracks.

Question: Can these be obtained in files that loop twice or more? they only loop once as is, and that's not desirable for everyone.

Apparently the files have been deleted from Megaupload. Good thing that FileFactory still has them. I just thought that you might either refresh the Megaupload links or just take them away. It's up to you anyway, Shatai. Oh, and thanks a bunch for the files.

Roja, I'd like to release properly looped versions for you, but I imagine my loops would just be poor approximations due to the nature of my rip.

I went to BlueLaguna before posting here and I couldn't find it there.

All of the files no longer work. It looks like they were taken down or expired. A re-upload of tracks that loop twice and fade at the end would be greatly appreciated. I have looked EVERYWHERE for these soundtracks and these rips are the closest things I have found to the real thing. Please, please, please put up new links!

Hahah, crazy that my first upload's going to be of someone else's rip. I know that a lot of people were looking for these (hell I know I was) and after months of searching I'm pretty sure I've tracked down these exact same rips. Here you go:

excellent, finally found these.... however, my complaint is that the rips, seem a little incomplete, unless thats just how they were in the iso, then whatever....

its ok, its just that.... i was gonna use the Chaos Shrine music to replace the one in Dissidia Duodecim (i dont like the rock version, the one in the psp remake is better IMO)

The extra tracks (remixes from Final Fantasy IV/V/VI) are in the MediaFire link above, that I posted. There's 5 of them.

Otherwise, the soundtracks for these PSP games are identical to the original PS1 remakes, Final Fantasy I Origins, and Final Fantasy II Origins. If you look those soundtracks up, you'll get tons of results!

I'm sure there's lossless rips of the Origins soundtracks, but as for the new remixes, that's the best I've got, sorry. :( It's been years, man.

They can in no way sound better. The PSP tracks are in 128bitrate at3 (or at3+, not sure) format. The PSX were in much higher quality not to mention the actual soundtrack being released on CD which allows lossless FLAC rips. I have the PSP exclusive tracks though, give me a moment and I'll upload them.

Interesting. Maybe they sounded better because I was using headphones as opposed to tv speakers.
I appreciate you putting up the PSP ones, though. for at least the sake of comparison.

You misunderstood me, I'm not going to upload whole PSP version soundtrack since it's the same and it's in shit quality. I didn't even keep that junk on my HDD. I'm going to upload the new tracks made for PSP version for the special dungeons with FF2, 3, 4 and 5 bosses.
