I was wondering if anyone could help me make my Xbox able to play DVDs from any region.

I already have the DVD remote and dongle. And I don't need to play any burnt DVDs or anything; I'm just interested in playing totally legal DVDs that are from regions other than Region 1.

Currently, my Xbox is completely unmodded.

Is there any way to make it region-free by just doing some sort of software mod?

W/o modding your Xbox I don't think there is. I hear Action Replay Max can help reformat your BIOS but I don't Know.

I too, have not heard of any other way than moding. Are you afraid of modding your Xbox? I would say that it is the best option
