Man I seem to have searched everywhere for a site or somewhere to download love hina anime that A. isn't a slow torrent or B. isn't a direct download site with terrible bandwidth (at least in my experience...I know routes to the host can vary based on you/your isp/location) like www.imafag.com).

But after searching for j-pop music on www.imafag.com and stumbling across DAtorrent's irc channel (in mirc type /server -m irc.pacifica.dairc.us then once connected type /join #datorrents) I found a server that had almost the full Love Hina series on it (the regular series 25 episodes and the christmas and spring specials)...the only thing missing is the 3 (or is it 4?...i'm confused :() episodes from Love Hina Again but I can find those via torrent if I have to.

Anyway that channel has *tons* of anime from Bleach to Excel Saga, etc., only problem is that each download is limited to 150 kilobytes/sec, so if you want 1-4 megabytes/sec 1 minute downloads (like I *used* to get on imafag before it went haywire on me), look somewhere else. I can get 1 230 megabyte episode in about an hour (and i'm surfing from home so my bandwidth is limited...) so it works for me.

Anyway, the only direct download website that I currently use is www.imafag.com which has alot of series, just not alot that I like (which imafag had!). Genshiken, your usual naruto shippuden and bleach and other series are there, and its only $5 a month although how much you can download is limited unless you pay another $5 for 5 gigabytes (or $20 for much more gigabytes at a discount).

I just wanted to post something seeing how i've been on ffshrine's forums for a while now and haven't posted anything :).

A quick word to everyone. narutofan.com is a pretty disreputable site and I advise everyone to steer clear of it. Any site that wants you to pay to download fansubbed anime and/or manga scanlations is crap and should not be supported.

Disreputable how exactly? Explain yourself before you start making accusations you can't back up. They're hella cheap subscription cost wise comapred to some of these $10-$15 a month sites and torrents can be very unreliable depending on how many seeds you find. And yea there is DAtorrent's website but they've got strict 1:1 ratio sharing rules which will NOT work for me on the network I'm on.

And as for sites that make you pay for anime, let me tell you how much anime I got from narutofob.com before the bandwidth went bust on me (for **$5** a month mind you!). The whole nina scroll TV series, many episodes of naruto shippuuden (mostly when dattebayo's tracker was DOWN mind you), the entire love hina series (yes all 29/30 episodes and the specials) and a random smattering of this and that. Oh and both Ghost in the shell movies.

So keep your opinons of direct download sites (which may be valid to some degree, I agree they're not the most reliable sites and can charge you more than you should depending on the site) to yourself and dont state them as fact.

And as for this idea that they only offer "fansubbed anime", the Love Hina series narutofob has is in ogm format meaning it is a Dual Audio DVD Rip. The japanese audio has fansubbing, but the english audio version does not. So its not simply a 'fansub' as you put it.

Excuse me? Naruto fob is supposed to offer near a terabyte's worth of anime at 1-4 megabytes/sec for FREE?! Bandwidth of that magnitude COSTS MONEY dude and I do NOT mind paying them a measly $5 a month for it (actually they should be charging alot for the bandwidth you can get if you ask me !)
