This is my attempt at putting together a Chris Hlsbeck discography. Unfortunately, the links you see below are everything I have of him. Hopefully I'll come across more in the near future. I know I'm missing a couple of his albums and a bunch of game rips from games that he made music for. If any of you have any of his albums, or game rips (that I don't have), please post them in this thread. All contributions are welcomed and are greatly appreciated. Thanks! :)

Chris Hlsbeck, in my opinion, is one of the best producers in the business. Anyone who knows his work will (should) agree with me. And those who haven't should take a listen.

Another nice post!

I can't agree more, Hlsbeck is one of those western VGM master, and everyone should at least know one of his game's composition.

His last personnal album (Number Nine) is amazing, i just can recommand to buy it.

To make this post more complete.. you forgot a bit of his works

He also appear in these album:
Das Schwarze Auge (Blade of Destiny) - composer
MDK Original Game Soundtrack - arranger

Power Game Hits
Back in Time
Acclaim's Raving X-Mas

can you reupload albums Number Nine and Bridge from the past to the future?

@ Anatar: Thanks for bringing up those other albums. I know he made appearances on other compilation CDs. But I left them out because I only wanted to post albums which he produced himself. But they are certainly welcomed if someone feels like uploading them. :D

I can upload the MDK OST, Acclaim's Raving X-Mas and Back in Time I. Just give me a day or two.

@ mr_bogus: I know he was the Music Director for Star Wars Rogue Squadron 2, 3 and 3D. Not sure about the first game, but I'm pretty sure he was.

@ narco: I'd upload them both if I had them. Sorry.

Just so everybody knows, I have no intention of re-upping any of these, since a majority of them can be found at the Galbadia Hotel. Plus, Mr. Hlsbeck is still making great albums, and I'm pretty sure some of these here are still in print. So go buy them! As far as the game rips go, you'll find all of them somewhere around here.

I've been requesting this for a while now.

Turrican III was actually the first time I liked the music so much to use extraneous recording methods.

Does anyone have one track from his newest album? I'm all for supporting Chris here, but I'd like to know what he's offering.

Well, most of them are there. Some haven't been posted yet. If you request them, someone here should be able to help you out.
