I would love to have the ost for this, and I've been searching all over the net and the forums, but I can't find it, and the guy who had it, Sigma62, seems to be out of comission, so if anyone knows anyone who can upload this soundtrack, please be a sport tell me about it. Thank-you.

This is the fourth time now, and I can't help but feel as if I should try to help you in some way. I've never uploaded anything, but maybe I could figure it out if I have something your looking for, but I know I don't have that Final Fantasy music your looking for, because I have no Final Fantasy music.

Jessie
01-27-2008, 09:41 PM
Dont worry about it only thing im lookin for at the moment is the Shining Tears Music Collection not the rip thats on this site already have it and tagged that myself

MET II
01-27-2008, 09:48 PM
How come your so willing to help everyone out? Kind of a rarity, nowadays? Or maybe thats how people are where you come from, or no?

MET II
01-27-2008, 09:49 PM
How about this, have you heard of an Nintendo game from about 1987 or 88 called Bump n Jump? There's some bgm I've been looking around for for over a year I suppose. Also Where do you find all these soundtracks, how do you do it?

Jessie
01-27-2008, 10:01 PM
There are lots of people who help others here like Beulah_Page, OrangeC, monkichi, GoronMoron, Domingo, Secondtooth and many others im just doin my part and yes i have heard of Bump n' Jump and yes can get you the music, as for how i do it they have to be ripped, was there any tagging on shatterhand

MET II
01-27-2008, 10:07 PM
There was no artist tag, so I put it in as jaleco, and no album tag, so I put that in as Shatterhand, as for the track titles, they were just titled like Shatterhand - 1, Shatterhand - 2, etc., why do you ask?

Jessie
01-27-2008, 10:11 PM
When i do the bump n' jump soundtrack will probably be the same except i will name the soundtrack and just put in vic tokai and data east as the artist no track tagging though

MET II
01-27-2008, 10:17 PM
That's fine, after all, it was data east who did that version, anyway. I'm guessing Vic Tokai was the actual composer of it, right?

Jessie
01-27-2008, 10:21 PM
Vic Tokai was the publisher data east made it or maybe the other way around havent a clue who did the music for it

MET II
01-27-2008, 10:27 PM
doesn't really matter either way, I just throw it all in my mp3 player, have it plugged in right now. How easy is it to rip these osts, and how long does it take, say for something as small as bump n jump?

Jessie
01-27-2008, 10:35 PM
Shouldnt be too long nearly done

MET II
01-27-2008, 10:37 PM
You Rock, what kinda stuff do you listen to? That is, other than vgm. There are a couple of Irish bands I like, such as Thin Lizzy and U2. But my top favorites are Iron Maiden, Blue Oyster Cult, and Van Halen. How about you?

Jessie
01-27-2008, 10:51 PM
I like U2 aswell some Blue Oyster Cult songs but my favourites are Fall Out Boy, Daft Punk, Armand van Helden and SOUL'd OUT (J Hip-Hop) that whole album only came out at about 6mins uploading now

MET II
01-27-2008, 10:54 PM
Yeah, I have Agents of Fortune, 1976, Secret Treaties, 1973 or 74, and Don't Fear the Reaper: The Best of Blue Oyster Cult, I've got October, The Joshua Tree, among other things by U2. I do actually have one song by Daft Punk called Robot Rock. Awesome sound. It has a mid to late seventies sound, with some electronica stuff, but I'm sure you know the song already. I think it's from the album Human After All.

Jessie
01-27-2008, 10:58 PM

MET II
01-27-2008, 11:01 PM
Don't Fear (The Reaper) is actually my all-time favorite song of all. Just kinda reminds me of being a child again, before life became miserable, know what I mean? Well, perhaps I should ask how old you are first, in case your not as old as me yet. Thanks for the upload, like I said You Rock.

I'm 22

MET II
01-28-2008, 03:32 AM
I'm also 22, and I'll be 23 in September. What part of Ireland are you from? Have you ever been to the states? I'm not a huge fan of 'em, even if we do have the most freedom. I'm extremely anti-conservative. Have you heard of the Sega Genesis Game, Beavis and Butthead? If so, have you any clue who are where might have it? Mp3 format, of course.

Jessie
01-28-2008, 11:08 AM
Im from Carlow never been outside of Ireland

Never heard of Carlow, have you heard of Levittown? Pennsylvania, of course you've heard of. Levittown is in Bucks County, which is southeastern Pennsylvania. Thanks for the upload. Was there an SNES version of that game, by chance?

MET II
01-28-2008, 02:41 PM
I guess I made a mistake or something, must have been the snes version of Beavis and Butthead I was thinking of. Can you do that?

Jessie
01-28-2008, 02:55 PM
Yeah no prob

Jessie
01-28-2008, 03:11 PM
This is how the nes rips are done and you can get them all here too

I know about this link, I'm just having problems converting the nsfs into wavs. The only way for me to get the hang of this is to learn step by step. Thanks for the B & B rip.

MET II
01-30-2008, 11:32 PM
Hey, how ya doin? Can you tell me how to use winamp to convert nsf's to wavs, so I can than convert them into mp3s?

Jessie
01-30-2008, 11:53 PM
Enqueue the file you want go into options then preferences, select output and from the list on the right select nullsoft disk writer and press configure at the bottom, select your directory where the wavs will be saved then select which format to convert to in the conversion section you should set the format to PCM
44.100khz, 16bit, stereo 172kbps when you play now you wont hear any sound but the timer will be sped up and wont stop you have to stop it yourself remember to change the name of the outputted wav file. When converting the next track you have to press play then press next and agree to overwrite thats pretty much it then you can edit it or just convert it to mp3.
Phew hope that helps

MET II
01-31-2008, 12:10 AM
to enqueue an nsf file, do i just drag it into winamp, just right into the middle?

Jessie
01-31-2008, 12:16 AM
Jusr right click on the file you should see it at the top under play in winamp

MET II
01-31-2008, 12:26 AM
i clicked it i pressed enque button it plays for like a mili second, my speakers don't work anyway i'm just not understanding. all i wanna do is make these files into wavs, so i can make em into mp3s. these files, they came from ric. each nsf file contains the whole ost in it, right?

MET II
01-31-2008, 12:30 AM
then i tried sending the file to the format converter, and it can't find the wav decoder

Jessie
01-31-2008, 12:34 AM
Which game nsf are you usin ill check it out might be a problem with it the file should'nt play when you enqueue it anyway

MET II
01-31-2008, 12:39 AM
2 in 1 cosmo cop (light gun), and the file really isn't playing at all, you just see a movement about a fraction of a second long

MET II
01-31-2008, 12:46 AM
Are you familiar with Ys 3: Wanderers from Ys? I've found redbook soundtracks, but I'd actually like a rip from the snes, never been able to find one. The night doen't have to be a total waste if you can upload ys 3 for snes, non arranged, you know what i'm talkin' about right? I think the company was Sammy, or something like that

Jessie
01-31-2008, 12:54 AM
Yeah i did it ages ago was one of the first rips i did but lost most of my early stuff will have a look see ill check out that nes game too

MET II
01-31-2008, 12:58 AM
you don't have to bother with the 2 in 1, i was just using that for a test, i don't even know that game, but you could batman returns for nes

Jessie
01-31-2008, 01:00 AM
can do a rip of the nes one too if you want

what i meant to say was i could do a rip of that 2 in 1 nes game but you dont want that so ill do batman returns

MET II
01-31-2008, 01:09 AM
you mean you would have to do a rip to get the snes version? if so thats fine with me, after all your the one doing the favor. otherwise, if your talking about ys iii for nes, i don't need that just the snes

Jessie
01-31-2008, 01:16 AM
what i meant to say was i could do a rip of that 2 in 1 nes game but you dont want that so ill do batman returns

MET II
01-31-2008, 01:19 AM
but you aren't able to do ys iii for snes? thats fine if you can't you've already done so much for me. batman returns i guess if you can get it

Jessie
01-31-2008, 01:22 AM
Yes i can doin it right now the music quality is very good for a snes game

MET II
01-31-2008, 02:37 AM
sorry i had to go to the hospital for a bit, turns out my grandmother on my mother's side has leukemia, but yeah, i'd really like to hear that ys iii, since you say the sound quality is going to be that good

Jessie

Well, to tell you the truth, she is the person i'm closest to, and have been since I was probably a toddler. Its true when they say god works in mysterious ways. Why the hell does the worst shit gotta happen to the best people? Know what I mean? Thanks for the upload, appreciate more than I can express.

Jessie
01-31-2008, 03:10 AM
Surely they can give her treatment for it and make a full recovery especially if it was caught early

MET II
01-31-2008, 03:20 AM
Yes, it's possible to beat leukemia, just like any other type of cancer, though we don't know how long she's had it for. Unfortunately, she has been diagnosed with acute leukemia, which means that it is severe. I will never give up hope, though. Even if she passes, the least I can do is pray for the soul. Tomorrow, she'll be going to a hospital in the city. Philadelphia, I'm sure you've heard of, because like I said were from southeastern PA. Is Jessie your real name? Mine's Mark Tomlinson. You should at least know that much, after all our back and forth, you know? Yeah, someday I'd like to get over there to the U.K. From the pictures I've seen, the countrysides of Ireland and Britain are quite beautiful, but you'd know better, so am I right then?

Jessie
01-31-2008, 01:44 PM
I hope she can beat it anyway ive heard of philadephia alright my real name is Keith Donoghue Ireland and England have some great places alright. Still workin on Batman its a tough one for editing

MET II
02-05-2008, 10:55 PM
hey, do you think you can find street fighter ex 3, not the original soundtrack, but all the character tracks?

Jessie
02-05-2008, 10:58 PM
I have the game but havent really played it how many characters are there might have to rip it myself

MET II
02-05-2008, 11:33 PM
The Characters are as follows:
Ryu
Ken
Guile
Chun-Li
Blanka
Dhalsim
Zangief
Balrog
Sagat
Vega
Doctrine Dark
Cracker Jack
Vulcano Rosso
Area
Hokuto
Nanase
Sakura
Sharon
Skullomania
Shadow Geist
Darun Mister
Garuda
Kairi
Pullum Purna

MET II
02-05-2008, 11:37 PM
also, I believe Bison, or Vega, as he is called in Japan, has two tracks, one when you go through on one player mode, just titled Final Battle, and he has his own music, with a heavy metal sound to it.

Jessie
02-05-2008, 11:42 PM
I should be able to get them no problem don't know when i'll have it done though

MET II
02-05-2008, 11:50 PM
ok, cool, a couple hours, or maybe a day? oh, forgot to mention, gram passed on, the leukemia took her.

Jessie
02-06-2008, 12:07 AM
Sorry to hear that you goin to be okay i suppose all i can really do to help is get you that music

MET II
02-06-2008, 12:21 AM
I think i'll be alright, but it'll probably hit me eventually. Maybe I'm still a bit numb. Secondly, you don't need to feel obligated to do anything on my account, your just good at it, and you don't care about anything in return. Have you ever found that Final Fantasy music you wanted by Nobuo something or other? You do realize that on the original Street Fighter EX3 soundtrack, most of the tracks I mentioned aren't even on it, so that's why I'm trying to get it. The Galbadia Hotel has alot of good stuff, but you can't get everything there, ya know?

Jessie
02-06-2008, 12:54 AM
The Galbadia Hotel has alot of good stuff, but you can't get everything there, ya know?
Yeah i know what you mean i'll get started on the rip anyway could be a day or two though i have a half day thursday and am off friday and all next week for midterm so should be done for definate on friday but will probably be thursday

MET II
02-06-2008, 01:00 AM
that's fine with me, so what are you majoring in?

Jessie
02-06-2008, 01:04 AM
Not in Collage yet doin a multimedia and digital movie course but hopefully i'll be goin this year

Jessie
02-06-2008, 02:45 AM
Just finished getting the music looks like nearly 2hrs40mins of music compared to the 60odd mins in the ost now comes the hard part track seperation and editing will start on this tomorrow

MET II
02-06-2008, 08:44 PM
Thanks for the time you took to do this for me, I really appreciate it.

Jessie
02-06-2008, 09:29 PM
i was just about to say i might not be able to do it because i found the whole way through the sound file was a sort of echo of previous tracks in others if ye know what i mean but after 45mins work i think ive found the right frequency and sounds great ill try and show you what i mean i'll upload a problem file and one i've hopefully fixed

Jessie
02-06-2008, 10:11 PM
Heres the problem track and the fixed track and with what i think i ryu's stage these are just preliminary rips so ignore any tagging

Jessie
02-06-2008, 10:37 PM
Im just after discovering why ryu, ken and some of the others music are not on the ost the reason being its the same music from street fighter ex you can get it here
Thread 39734
do you know if the others characters were in ex2 or if there are some just in ex3

MET II
02-06-2008, 11:10 PM
never played ex 2, just ex 3

MET II
02-06-2008, 11:15 PM
are you sure the ex3 soundtrack on goronmoron's page is the one with all the characters?

Jessie
02-06-2008, 11:19 PM
Id say if there are other tracks missin from ex3 that are not in ex then there most likely in ex2 everything i got from the ex3 disc is already on the ex3 ost

Jessie
02-06-2008, 11:20 PM
get the ex plus alpha soundtrack not the ex3 one

MET II
02-06-2008, 11:24 PM
how'd you figure that out?

Jessie
02-06-2008, 11:34 PM
I have all the ex games and turned it on to do some track tagging and heard the music ex was one of my favourite games

MET II
02-06-2008, 11:38 PM
Are you a big fan of Street Fighter? I've got a vast amount of Street Fighter knowledge. Have you ever played the original Street Fighter? It came out originally on the NES in 1988. I played it on a Capcom collection game. It didn't achieve nearly as much success as Street Fighter II, four years later.

Jessie
02-07-2008, 12:31 AM
That street fighter was the one from the C64 id say i had that version big fan of street fighter cant wait for the new one to come out

MET II
02-11-2008, 09:52 PM
Hey, buddy, how are you? Find that ost your looking for yet? Trying to find the ost for Top Gear, the original one, for SNES, by Kemko. Can you help me?

Jessie
02-11-2008, 09:58 PM
Im fine, havent found the ost yet how are you doin i can do the top gear soundtrack for you not much music in it if im correct

MET II
02-11-2008, 10:00 PM
Indeed, there isn't much, but it's good, for what it's worth. Probably about four level tracks, and a title, maybe another track, but I doubt it, so it won't take long at all. Ever play it?

Jessie
02-11-2008, 10:05 PM
Never played it 7 tracks in total title, 4 level tracks, qualification track and an ending theme shouldnt be too long uploading something else at the moment though but still shouldnt be too long

MET II
02-11-2008, 10:13 PM
Cool, man, thanks. You ever listen to Iron Maiden? They astound me.

Jessie
02-11-2008, 10:21 PM
Thats weird someone else asked me tha same question last night i only have two of their songs but i still think there great my favourite is the number of the beast

MET II
02-11-2008, 10:35 PM
Number Of The Beast is good, but there are much greater songs to be found, in my opinion.
