In the movie, when the knights are all in the village the night before they go off on their mission, they ask a woman to sing a song. What is the song? Artist/title?

Thanks!

You're hilarious. Hope you didn't spend much time thinking of that response.

Basically what I'm getting at is, you asking for an 'Artist/Title' which, no offence, just seems a bit daft to me.

How do you figure?

Well, from what I can tell King Arthur is set in Arthurian/medieval times, the chances that they'd get someone to sing a song that you can put a Artist to just seem a bit small.

It's a movie score. These scorers have their own special group of orchestral musicians and vocalists. Not that difficult.

But it isn't a movie score. It's a song sung by someone within the actual film.

It's called the Song of the Exiles, arranged by Caitlin Matthews, but is supposedly adapted from an old poem. The music that is heard underneath it while Vanora is singing is an actual song that I believe is available to buy, but its just the music. You won't get the song or anything resembling what was in King Arthur, its just the music playing very quietly in the background. Hell, I never even realized there was music underneath her singing until after looking all this up. It is called Amergins Invocation by Lisa Gerrard and Patrick Cassidy.

Basically, the only way to get that song, is to rip it from the DVD, which is crappy as her singing fades out as Arthur stares off into space and then comes back briefly at the end of it. Lame. Trust me, I have been hunting for that song since I saw King Arthur in theaters. There isn't a way to get it in uninterrupted entirety. At least not yet.

If you want a decent rip from the movie, you can find them here. Like I said the singing does fade out in the movie so it will do the same on these. Anyhow enjoy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j-KETsNetKg Just click on the more info tab on the right, it will have the file links there. There is also a link for the background music too.
