i found it pretty easily the first time around. second time, i just quickly checked GameFAQs

I've had a worse experience in Final Fantasy II in the beginning after you go to Fynn. It's when you're supposed to destroy the Dreadnought and the Queen or whoever is supposed to give you Sunfire to memorize. Just the hassle of finding the right character and sequence thereof to talk to.

I think this is what happened to me as well.

I checked GameFAQs after about 15 minutes.

I couldn`t find it for a while so I was just flying around the Centra continent and leveling up... until I actually saw the white SeeD ship!

It took me forever to find it at first because of all the cramped up tiny islands. It was also because I didn't have a guide to help me find it faster.

I tell ya, playing video games without walkthroughs or strategy guides can be a b*tch. lol

I usually never broke controllers unless I fought an agonizingly difficult boss whom I suspected of "cheating".

When the "Search for the ship" task came up, I was more interested in exploring the lower region of the map. xD
It's how I found the Deep Sea Research Center.
Of course, with just the mobile Garden, couldn't actually go in there, but because of that, it was my first place to go as soon as I got Ragnarok.

They pretty much told you where to look xD lol so it didn't take very long unless you were not paying attention :O

When I first found it, it was easy.

Then my brother needed to find it as he played through. Since he couldn't, I offered my assistance. I spent half an hour looking for it before I realized that he needed to talk to one more person before it would even appear...
