Actually, the reason why he was mine was because we acted almost identical. I liked him because I thought we had a lot in common. Growing up, I was always picked on so I pretty much said fuck it to everything and stopped talking. I didn't really have friends but some acquaintances that would talk to me sometimes. I still am like that somewhat. I rarely talk and am almost always off in my own world and thinking to myself.

Um, that's not really badass. If you want to be bad ass, it's more than just the way you look and your personality. There's many different variables to consider. It's the same for pretty much any label you want to "fit in" to.

For me, i am similar to squall also, like IDX... I was usually picked on when i was a little younger because i never really talked to anyone, and if i did i would always embarrass myself somehow, so i decided to just leave it be, and just be like a lone wolf, and just stay by myself. I don't have much of a problem with it anymore, i mean i don't talk much, only to my GirlFriend, and im happy with that.

I do have some friends kind of, but i don't usually talk to them much when im around then, i just listen to whatever going one... Sometimes i don't even listen im just in my own little world.

Squall is sort of one of my idols too. I kinda acted like him before playing the game and when I did start playing it, it seemed like I had a lot in common with him.

I`m still acting like him, oh well... I love Squall.

To be like Squall, all you really need is to not say anything when people talk to you. When they eventually ask you what's wrong and why are you not replying, you just hold up a card with "..." on it.

You'll have people saying "wow that guy is just like Squall from that game FFVIII" behind your back in no time!

Of course, mythical monsters that you can control at whim would also help, but they're secondary.

Sometimes while perusing the forums, I truly tend to wonder if the kids nowadays can distinguish between fantasy and reality. I'm not all that far removed from being a kid (well, yeah I am), but, wanting to be Squall, someone else actually did emulate Squall... I don't think it's stupid, or pathetic... I find it to be sad.

and his personality is the only bad quality about him, but he can get away with being like that because he's good looking and good at pretty much everything... anyone else, it just makes you boring and uninteresting...
