This is the Lemmings and Oh No! More Lemmings custom module music recorded to WAV using DeliPlayer 2's Streamrecorder, cropped, faded and MP3 encoded suitable for everyone.

I'm posting it for Galbadia Hotel to replace their ... "interesting" game rip.

Enjoy.

oh MAN, this is amazing.
You don't know how long I've wanted this. I've been so disappointed with soundtracks from succesive releases of this game. I even went so far as to try to run an amiga emulator on my computer JUST so I could hear the old, familiar arrangements of this wonderfully catchy music just one more time.
Thanks a bunch!
And this is even the AMIGA version itself! Brilliant.

I've found that the WinFellow Amiga emulator does a very good job with Lemmings, under WinXP. It also does a passable attempt (on my PIII 850 laptop) of Battle Squadron two-player :)

And this is even the AMIGA version itself! Brilliant.

Like Battle Squadron, Lemmings music is implemented as special software and not standard MOD. This Custom Format music is easily available to download, but so far, DeliPlayer 2 in Windows is the only program to be able to replay it (and I don't like DeliPlayer ;) so I've converted it to MP3, suitable for Winamp, iPods, and Macs and Linux PCs. I've also done some of the Battle Squadron music, not that it had much (but it was awesome all the same).

I know this is like closing the barn door after the horses have escaped, but if anyone is interested, I have this .mod file (Amiga music file) player called ModPlug. In addition to playing .mod files, it can also convert them into .wav files. It's very, very user-friendly. This is how I obtained Lemmings music.

There.

You can download authentic recorded mods from the Amiga @ http://fonix.dyndns.org:40000/soamc

Do a search for Lemmings composed by Tim Wright and Brian Johnston. Oh No More Lemmings! and Lemmings Tribes are all there too.

It's beautiful.

WTF? People are still replying three years later and I'm not receiving any notification e-mails ... E-mail address is correct, too.

Ghiraddje, thanks a million, will put this on the ipod

Wrong railway line. I live and work by the Midland Main Line. (I thought you'd be on the ECML, but I have no idea where anywhere is, although I'm correct in that WAGN used to serve Bishop's Stortford.)

Sorry to revive this thread, but I just stumbled across it excitedly, only to find that the Rapidshare link is again dead. If you don't mind re-posting the archive, I'd be happy to host a download mirror!

Big thanks from me too. I like the music of the PC version well enough, but I've always wanted to get the Amiga version!

I remember getting a SoundBlaster 2 for my then-new PC, and playing Lemmings on my PC. I was really, really disappointed in the music of the PC version compared to the Amiga version that I was used to. (It was nice when I got a SoundBlaster 16-compatible (OPL3) card, and MIDI music got a lot better.) Lemmings on the Amiga, with the music, feels like a defining point in my life.
