No, it's just your run-of-the-mill double dip. Same game with a few tweaks like new CGs, a couple extra jobs, etc. If you want a new FFT game, wait for the upcoming one for the DS.

Got the game for Christmas. I've put in almost 66 hours into it. I've enjoyed it alot and recommend it.

Is it just me or did they fuck up some of the original names, i.e. Algus is now Argath. I preferred the original over the "revised names," oh well. I don't mind the renaming of the job classes or the newer jobs either.

Im getting it off a site with my firmwared PSP probablly tomorrow. Ive heard its really a good game, even though I havent played any of the FF Tactics games. :D

I've played the original Tactics on the PS1, but the genre just doesn't appeal to me. It's nothing like the core Final Fantasy games. I would call it Final Fantasy in name only.

Yeah, ive got it. Finished it like 3 months ago. I liked it, but it was a bit short, i even did the side quest's..Anyone who doesn't know, you can recruit Balthier and Cloud onto your party. like i said, a great game, but a bit to short.

I had FF Tactics on the PSOne back then, but it's been stolen, along with my friend's N64, my SNES, and many games on both systems!!!:-(

So I'll pick this one as soon as I get a PSP.

I want to play it if only for the revised script. Tactics has a great story but the original English translation was sub-par to say the least. The new one was done by the same team that translated FFXII, who have apparently done a fantastic job.

The words "scurvy bard" or something are still used, if i remember correctly.

Negative, it's a remake of the same great game. I would buy it if I had a PSP. Since I haven't played it I couldn't tell you what's differant about it, but from the looks of it, it seems to have slightly better graphics and animated cut-scenes.

I got the psp just for the game, but would have gotten psp later anyways.
It seems i'm the only one who likes this part more than any of the other parts :P

I guess he means the original Tactics story, as opposed to Advance...? Maybe.
