It depends on wether youre talking about the left/up path or the left/down path. On the left up path, its the Mega-All materia, on the left/down path its either the W-Magic materia or the Magic Counter materia, depending on which one you pick up first. Theyre both in the same room.

Actually, Deftones, that's not why Cloud and Aeris/Aerith initially thought. They thought that Aeris/Aerith was being chased because Shinra wanted her to be in SOLDIER.

A: First of all Sephiroth is not evil (well not entirely). Sephiroth (the 1 ur talking about) is a Mako replica since he was killed by Cloud in the Nibbelheim reactor when he burned it down. Sephiroth tried to kill Cloud but Cloud killed him instead.
Later he was cloned by Hojo.

During Cloud's flashback in Kalm you can learn a music sequence to play on Tifa's piano ("Do Re Mi Ti La Do Re Mi So Fa Do Re Do.").After that, if you return to Nibleheim on Disc 3 and play the tune you will get a short scene that explains how Tifa escape from Nibelheim and end up in Midgar.It takes the form
of a letter from Tifa's martial arts instructor Zangan and the text is as follows:

"Tifa, what's happened to our town? Was it all an illusion, or just a dream? No, it was neither. I remember trying to get people out of the flames, but not having the strength... Burning with anger, I went to the reactor to kill Sephiroth.

But he was nowhere to be found. Instead, I found you, collapsed inside. I felt saving you was far more important than going after Sephiroth. There were several others that were still alive inside, but I was only able to save you.

As I was coming out of the reactor, Shinra troops were just arriving. I recall a scientist named Hojo was in charge. He ordered the troops to gather up everyone still alive for the experiment. I didn't know what type of experimenthe was talking about, but I wasn't about to let them have my dearest student.

Putting you on my back, I headed down the mountain to the village. I used theCure spell on you many times and started to head for Midgar to look for a doctor for you. I don't like that city, but my Cure spells weren't helping.

The closest thing is "Materia. When you condense Mako energy, materia is produced."

The quote is not real, so you never hear it. And you can take that to the bank! (I found a script and hit Ctrl+F)

No, your are right, it is possible, but no matter when you run, you will get attacked, the correct answer would be that once the Midgar Zolom gets close to you, save your game and reset, when you fre-load your file, he will be farther away, repeat as neccissary

Although everybody dismissed this as having not been said, it is too said. It's displayed as a message every time you pick up one of the materia in the materia caves, I.E. "Over the course of many years, mako energy crystallizes into materia... Received 'Knights of the Round' Materia."

So while it may not be part of the script (because it's not really part of the main part of the game, just a message that's displayed when you get those materia) it is in the game. And you can take that to the bank.

How many times has it been said though? None, it was displayed, not said. No character actually said that. And the game has no voice actors so you can't hear it anyways.

I don't even get your question. What in the world is it supposed to mean anyway? "How much gil can you have if you defeat every monster once by the time you are at Don Corneo's?" What? So you want us to take every possible monster you can encounter from the start of the game till the time you get to Don Corneo's and add up the total Gil? That's lunacy.

Okay: towards the end of the game, Yuffie asks Cloud to read over and sign a contract that would give her the rights to all of the materia after everything was over. What reason does Cloud give for not even reading it and who does Yuffie suggest that she and Cloud pick on later to let off steam?

Lesse, i believe the Curse Ring increases all stats in battle but takes HP off aswell.

It gives you a boost in status, but then Condemns you during the battles.

Actually Surprentis was right, what Holy did was attract meteor to the planet. The pale green light was the Life Stream. :D :D :D
