After most small fights, I receive different stones, skins, pelts, scales, and things of the sort. My question is, should I just sell these, or are they useful at some point in the game? Should I save them?

Well it depends. If they are items you find constantly, you can freely sell them so you can afford to upgrade your equipment and buy Magick/Technicks/etc.

But if you only have a few of these items, chances are they are more rare. You should definatly hang on to those kind of items.

The vast majority you should sell. If it's a common drop, from a common enemy, sell it.

Actually, there are quite a few rare items you might as well sell. The Halcycons, for example, are only used for one item, so there's no point in hanging onto them.

I collected 99 Bone Fragements from the mines sold them for a pretty penny thats for sure.
