NO I do not have it.

There is a song thats not included in the soundtrack as usual. not only ONE film on earth was able to put all the songs used in the film to a soundtrack. so each film's soundtrack is missing some songs. and unfortunately that usually happens to my favourite song. i can hear you saying "OK CUT THE CRAP and come to the point" so there it goes lol.

i watched the movie and its GREAT. BUT on the soundtrack, my favourite song is missing. THE END CREDITS SONG. ITS NO WHERE to be found and if someone finds it, i will make him a king.

i started a new topic for this one so everyone can see it O.O

just a question: is it somehow possible to rip the song out by cutting the end credits part and destroying the video thingy and just the song remains? LOL or is it just a fantasy of mine.

thanks for your help ALREADY.

When the movie comes out (most bootlegs don't have great sound quality and/or don't even show the ending credits), save it to your computer as some kind of video file that is supported by some kind of video editing software. After putting the video onto the timeline, delete everything except for the part that you want to record. After you have your desired result, convert it to "AUDIO ONLY" and save it as mp3. Viola! You now have your song....or sound....whatever.

Or hook up some audio recording device to your television and just record it manually. Either works fine.

Hi!

Here's how you rip the End Credits in Dolby Digital 5.1:

1. use DVD-Decrypter (freeware) in IFO mode to demux the AC3-Stream. Convert AC3 to 6 WAV files (one for each channel) using AC3-Tools (shareware).
2. create an audio montage with an audio editing tool (e.g. WaveLab). Create six mono channels and paste your six wave files there.
3. search for the Credits, move cursor to the beginning and split all channels at once.
4. add a fade-in if you like to
5. convert the credits clip again to six seperate files (everyone with the same length)
6. only if you have the PAL DVD: adjust the length of each channel from timecode 100.000 to timecode 104.667 (DON'T keep the pitch!) - google for 24fps (cine) vs. 25fps (PAL) if you don't know why to do this
7. download "WAV to AC3 Encoder" (freeware)
8. use the MUX-Wizard to create a proper 5.1 channel AC3 file.
note: this ac3 only plays properly when the signal is sent via SPD/IF to a surround receiver or played through 5.1 headphones. (stereo speakers will probably overload when trying to play the AC3 file, resulting in nasty scratches)

If you don't want an AC3 file, but just an MP3, from step 7 on:
7. open all six channels (the split ones) in you audio editing software
8. create a new audio file (48kHz, 16bit stereo), copy and paste the left and right channel there (left to left, right to right, not left and right to left and right...)
9. create another new audio file, copy and paste the left and right surround there (same as above)
10. copy the contents of the second audio file (with the surround channels) and mix it into the first one (with the front channels)
11. copy the lfe channel and mix it into the center channel
12. copy the lfe/center mix and mix it into the stereo file that contains the front and surround channels. Here you mix the mono channel onto both channels.
13. save under appropriate name
14. convert to MP3 with a program you desire. Be sure to select 48kHz samplerate! (otherwise you'll get a decrease in quality)

Any questions left? Just ask...

Why I know this stuff? Well, I've just made a complete custom soundtrack from Klaus Badelt's "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl" with ALL music pieces that appear in the movie. This took me about one month...

Regards, Timo

P.S.: @ admin: could this be useful? If so, just tell me to open a new post, then make it sticky... I have by this time some experience in ripping music 5.1 or stereo from DVDs. This holds the possibility to create really complete soundtracks from movies!

For me, I'd just prefer to hear the music. I don't see why a song piece needs to be in surround sound :-\.

omg dude thank you so much and whats incredible is this: i bought the movie yesterday; and today someone is telling me how to rip the music off.! by the way when i OPEN the dvd there are two folders called AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS. But incredibly AUDIO_TS is empty and everything is in VIDEO_TS. And what i mean with EVERYTHING is simply 6 files called video_ts each has the same name exactly if i remember correctly. And so therefore there occurs a problem. they always say hakuna matata but there is always a problem. the problem is this; when i try to run chapter 6 ONLY, i can ONLY and ONLY run it with ASUS DVD Player. So i got frustrated and also frustrated, and started Windows Movie Maker. And what a terrible thing happened! it didn't recognize the files! i was feeling real bad at that moment. what i expected was that the movie maker would recognize the files and i would cut the other parts before credits. and then make Audio Only. wish that could happen. but i think the method upstairs might work lol. so thanks a LOT. but if you can also manage to say why movie maker doesnt recognize the audio_ts files it would be good.

Use Wave Pad and not any other ripper! I find it hard to believe that the software is free!! i want to buy the pro version, though i do not use it much, i want to do my part to its developers. Like it is, the piece of music which i go on to like the most in a movie, never will be a part of its soundtrack.
This software has helped me a lot in ripping off the piece i like, and save it to any type, mp3, ogg, wav, u name it!
The UI too is very simple and in less than 10 mins you can get ur piece and what more, you can even add great effects or amplify the piece.

P.S : I am NOT advertising this product! It has just helped me rip music off the video files and all the software i came across wanted me to buy it to be able to use it for more than 7 secs, 60 secs, etc.
