In another words, what games have your favorite music overall?

For me--Pikmin 2, Super Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.

Supreme Commander.
Xenosaga (Any of the three, tbh).

Any of the Sonics for the Genesis because of:

Marble zone, labyrinth zone, Chemical plant, Hydro City, Carnival Night, Ice Cap, Flying Battery and Sandopolis zones.

Tales of Symphonia, FFVI, and SSB(M/B). All of these have great emotion-packed music. Hearing Mithos' theme moves me!

All of the Ouendan and EBA games, obviously. Jumpin' Jack Flash, Countdown, etc. are all awesome.

I'd say Sam & Max, season 1.

All 3 Metroid Prime games (LOVE those games!)
StarFox Adventures (LOVE this game too!)

Not many I like...

Final Fantasy IX, Lost Odyssey, Ookami, and Eternal Sonata are probably my four favorites.

Saga Frontier 2, Disgaea: Hour of Darkness, Final Fantasy 7, Tales of Destiny (remake) and Chrono Trigger are some of my favorites.

LoZ, Metroid Prime, Galaxy, And Most of the Final Fantasy Seris and Scratches.

Anyway, Silent Hill 2 and Final Fantasy IX are the ones I strongly enjoy

The Metroid Prime series, heck, the entire Metroid franchise has always had top-notch music. Mega Man is pretty good too. I also enjoy most of the TimeSplitters soundtracks.

I would have to say Silent Hill 2, Final Fantasy VIII and X, some of Dragonball Z, Beatmania IIDX Happy Sky, and I guess some DDR music :/.

I don't usually notice the music when I'm playing a game, only after if I look it up online or something. But I like the music of Final Fantasy V and VI advance because they have the music player to listen to the music anytime. makes it easier because you can here the whole song and hear it whenever you want, not just when you are at that part in the game.

Just about anything from the castlevaina, devil may cry and dmc games. and Jet grind radio

ff6 and chrono trigger, i also liked the music from wild arms 3 and arc the lad: twighlight of the spirit

FF series, FFT (not to be confused with GBA version), Panzer Dragoon, Guardian Heroes, GTA series, GT series, Castlevania series, Mega man series, Bust-A-Groove I, Guitar Hero series, Blaster Master, Initial D, SF series, Virtua Fighter series... I'll stop there cause I have a whole lot more that I could post.

Those are the main ones I recall with soundtracks I enjoy and managed to get ahold of over the years.

Hitman: Blood Money, Hitman: Contracts and Final Fantasy X. These are the only games that I want to play when I hear their soundtrack.

My personal fave - Lair. I don't play it cause i know it sucks balls, but the music is so good it makes me kinda want to play it.

Others: Sonic 3 & Knuckles, Any Castlevania game, Kirby Air Ride, Blazblue (gameplay's still great), and Twisted Metal: Head On.

QFT. Halo Mjolnir mix is awesome. The rest of the OST is ok... but can't beat the main theme.

Halo soundtrack is average. It's just as outstanding as every other FPS soundtrack.
