This is another show I wish I would've gotten into!
I saw the first episodes and got into it, but my schedule shifted and missed the rest of the season.
Unless I buy the seasons, or they suddenly decide to re-run them, I doubt I'll ever catch up.

Also, there's the rumor that Cloverfield might be a spin-off of Lost!

For all i got, Cloverfield looks like an independent project. The only thing that looks alike is that no one knows nothing about the monster.

Yeah, that and the fact that J.J. Abrams produced both.
The rumor also implies that its Lost taking place in a major city.
but it's just one of many rumors.

meh, it's one of those "quasi-inde" films. The companies know the fact that people are liking the inde, so they try to disguise films now. tards

I am looking forward to this, despite myself. Season 3 seriously picked up towards the end.

I think season 3 was wall to wall shit, bar maybe the episode where Jacob was introduced. I'm going to give season 4 a pRoBaTiOn PeRiOd of 3 or 4 episodes and if they continue with this "lol, filler iz killer, move at snail pace lol" malarkey then I'll just stop watching it.

Same here. I loved Lost to begin with, but now think it's been dragged out for far too long. I'll give it a further chance by watching a few episodes of Season 4. But if there's nothing about them that suggests the plot is really going to go anywhere I can see I'll end up giving up on it.

I agree. The only difference is I thought season two was crap, which let's face it, next to the first season, it really really was. Season 3 was my probation period for the show. Needless to say it failed.

It really saddens me to see one of the best and most original shows reduced to season 3.

That's not a difference, I agree with that too, I just left it unsaid. Well, I agree to an extent anyway. I thought maybe 7 or 8 of the last ten episodes were actually terrific in the second season because the show had regained some sense of direction and wasn't just an aimless episode of self discovery that mirrored the given character's flashback. Prior to that though it was VERY poor and I think the episode Dave is in there isn't it? Holy moly, whoever wrote that disaster deserves to be shot.

lol. Definitely. The second season also started off okay too. The last 7 or 8 episodes is the only reason I gave the third season a chance. The entire middle just stank. The way they handled some of what should have been the most dramatic scenes in that season....just pitiful. But yeah I am done with Lost. Supernatural and Heroes are where I am at right now.

I can't wait until Lost comes back, and it's coming back really soon. It's one of my favorite television shows. I'm not going to watch anything about it, though, because I don't want to be spoiled. I want to go into this season without knowing nothing about it, so that way it will be much better when I watch it. :)

Season 4 is so far so good for me. The plot as a whole is actually starting to move forward.

did anyone see the 8min recap of all the episodes on the abc site? that was funny... the new season looks cool... what I'm wondering about is that everyone seems to be criss crossing the island and the black smoke is no where in sight!!

So far, season 4 is rubbish. For the past 2 episodes I have been unable to watch them, they are just too dman boring.
