Is it just me or.....?

Yuna's warrior sword is Tidus's Brotherhood, the one Wakka gave him. Well, then.. What sword does Rikku wield? It looks familiar, but I don't remember and I don't feel like playing FFX just to find out about it.

And also.. Yuna's samurai sword is Auron's Katana, while Rikku wields Auron's Shimmering Blade. What about Paine? What samurai sword does she wield? It also looks very familiar, but I don't remember using it before..

Yuna's Warrior sword IS the Brotherhood. Rikku's Dark Knight sword is Auron's Masamune.

Masamune...cool! Unfortunately, I never obtained any ultimate weapons when I played FFX. After playing for somewhat 50 hours including the game overs, I thought I quickly moved onto FFX-2, then play other games. Too many games, too little time. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif

Rikku, when using the Warrior dressphere, wields Tidus's Crystal Sword; the blade, which is various shades of blue (descending from a lighter to darker hue), has golden zigzags embroidering most of it, as well as the hilt.

And also.. Yuna's samurai sword is Auron's Katana, while Rikku wields Auron's Shimmering Blade. What about Paine? What samurai sword does she wield? It also looks very familiar, but I don't remember using it before..

You don't remember using the sword of Paine's Samurai dressphere in FFX, because it has never made an appearance before her introduction.

All three of Paine's swords (Warrior, Samurai, and Dark Knight) are unique to her, and an indicator of this is the skull that's set at the base of the blade.

I also think rikku's warrior sword is the brotherhood (but im pretty sure im wrong)

Tidus's Brotherhood is, with respect to the story, the most significant weapon in FFX. Rikku may have given Tidus food when he was famished, and water when he was choking like an idiot, but they were not that intimate.

To your dismay, a Tidus x Rikku pairing won't ever become canon. http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c172/nfandom/funone3kk.gif

I know, and that was said in jest.

As far as deeming you as "crazy," they're being facetious, more than likely.

There's not an unwritten rule that you must be fond of a character who happens to share similar personality traits with yourself. In certain cases (which are not all that rare), parallelisms, whether it be in regard to physical likeness or idiosyncrasies (usually the latter), simply don't mesh well with some people.

Either my statement is on the mark, or you're of the opinion that Yuna sucks as a character.

It's Yuna not Rikku. Yuna has Tidus's Brotherhood iirc

No your right. I don't completely hate yuna I actually liked her in the first game but when I played x-2 the went right out the window in terms of having her on my favorite character list or anything. My friends even have a habit of calling me yuna if I'm wearing pink or light blue just to annoy me a little bit. In turn I say "what do you want seymour?"
