For a while now i have been looping music from certain games that i like, but usually only the songs that i like the most, so i thought that i would start my very own topic on looping music and that if anyone wants anything looped you can name me the game soundtrack on where the song is & the name of the song and if the song is actually loopable then i can pull it off easily, but for some that aren't well i can still try my best and see if i can get it to loop

the way the settings are for the loops are

they loop once to save MB space, but looped well so that if you had it on repeat it would loop and you wouldn't even know it did :)

i always save them as Ogg so that they don't create a bit of silence at the end of converting like mp3's do and so that you can even put them in game creators like rpg maker xp and they'll loop perfectly

and in case you don't have it, you should get winamp, because when u set repeat on winamp it plays back ogg's and mp3's without a gap at the end of the song.

so i hope that this forum will be helpful for some people.

Note: to make it easier on me, if you could easily just upload the song u want for me to download it would be much appreciated, because as i do have semi fast internet speeds, it is not only a pain for me to download a whole OST for a couple of songs & my internet has a knack of cutting out then being slow. Since i have a new internet plan my internet has been rather slow, uploading is fine.
EDIT: If anyone wants a request it might just take awhile because since my change of plan on my ISP my downloading for some reason is exceptionally slow, it shouldn't be but is

EDIT: My internet speed is now fine & i now have bought a new router that doesn't disconnect on me every 15 minutes, which is great for everybody now, because that means more requests and quicker uploads & also considering i now have a new internet speed & a new 90GB bandwidth it
should make loop requests done a lot faster & a lot more requests can be made. & i want to thank everbody for visiting this thread & making it my best thread yet. :)

what you should do is grab the songs you want looped, put them in a RAR folder by using Winrar (you do that by right clicking anywhere goto new & click new Winrar RAR Archive) then place the songs in the RAR folder, then goto www.sharebee.com or you can use www.rapidshare.com or www.mediafire.com
then find where to upload (it should be straightforward) then find the RAR folder then upload wait until upload is finished then post the link it gives you onto the forum.

But if you can't do it, you can easily tell me the songs your looking for, i could download them, or i might already have them.

As for the MK Soundtracks they are available on the main page. Although, I don't think they are very useful as I think there are a few missing or they are clumped together.

lwares i stayed up pretty much until 5 till 6:30 looping about 23 tracks of Hyper Street Fighter II, so i just hope that i have gotten the right OST, the forum said it was so i will upload it, it shouldn't take to long & i will provide link ASAP

i wouldn't know, i'm sure it should play in windows media player, but i never use it so i wouldn't know, but you could try typing in ogg vorbis on google & seeing if their is an available codec on their website, but what i'll do is transfer them to mp3 for you anyway.

Ok so i couldn't get to sleep so, i have looped Brutal Heart the best way that i could find - don't mind the big 40 second beginning included with the loop, it does loop & i have also included them as both MP3 & OGG + in there is MP3 versions of Abandoned Castle & Roberto's Theme, but considering there MP3 files, i can say they aint gonna loop properly, i'm sorry MP3 files just don't work well for looping, but the OGG files should be fine

The thing is, I just don't really like downloading media players. I like to stick with Windows Media Player.

Mmmmh... OK, I may have the answer : download "Audacity" (it's not a player, it's a free program to "modify" musics) and the little program called "LAME" that make Audacity convert .ogg files to .mp3 files. The two are free and easy to use !

Seary: i know you don't like searching & downloading & also sticking with Media Player (which i can't stand & never loops right...anyway) if you search a few posts back i posted a link to the OGG vorbis codec which they said will work with Windows media player, it's just that whenever i try to save them as MP3 files they never loop right & that considering my bandwidth is out, it's kinda hard to do at the moment...so you can try the OGG Vorbis Link Ogg Vorbis Codec http://www.illiminable.com/ogg/ & i hope it works but if it doesn't i'll upload them all again in MP3 format, i hope you understand why it would be hard at this point in time.

I'm not sure whom I should be addressing for requests, but here goes.

The way the tracks are set up is that they play through once, and then fade out and switch to the accelerated themes that play when one character is about to lose. The specific songs I'd like looped are the following:

-14 Balrog
-16 Cammy
-33 Ken Ending (Part 1)

I'd like for the first part of each song to loop once (two playthroughs). If the songs still seem short after that, then I don't mind two loops. I don't particularly care if the accelerated themes are kept in each track. Finally, if anyone wants to loop the entire game rip, I won't complain.

Ok i have discovered that i have a really bad virus :( that has completely destroyed my pc & it has also altered my Hard Drive so i cannot reboot it either, so i will not be able to loop or upload anything untill i can get this problem fixed Oh and in case your a smarty pants i have the virus called wintems.exe which i heard is a pain in the ass to get rid of...especially on Vista. So i apologize for any inconvenience this may cause for anybody & i hope i can get the problem fixed so i can help all of u for your looping needs soon. :)

Good news i hope, i might of found a way to reboot my pc without going to a technician & considering i had most of my files on an external hard drive, there's no big loss, at the moment it is formatting the C: Drive as i type so, hopefully it will install Windows XP...screw Vista it sucks anyway & i hope that i can keep looping files for all of you quicker then i expected.

It turns out that i cannot reboot my PC because of vista & the fact that the people who gave me the computer didn't give me the Vista Discs & recovery cd's with it, i can't do anything with it, so i will just take it to a tech and get it fixed + i might be getting a new Desktop PC or Laptop i hope for my TAFE studies, so i just hope that everything can be resolved soon & i'm sorry about all of this as well, i will still try and look at the progress and i will hopefully be able to note some things down in case there is anything i can work on when i get my PC back.

But if i do get time i will see if i can use another computer and see if i can find & install Adobe Audition so i can loop songs.

At the moment i was looping Sonic Riders - Zero Gravity then i had an awesome idea of mixing the Multiplayer Menu Music, in with the Main Theme song, i was finding many different ways to try and implement them both together & make it loop at the same time, well you should know me by now, anything that can loop, i can find a way to do it...well most of the time, so if anyone is interested i give you all Catch Me If You Can ~ Remix, it's a 5 minute & a half minute song, but i thought it was awesome & i hope you guys think so too :)

Your very welcome Touchstone & Chernabogue54, what u could do is do what i do with the beginnings of the song, is save them as a separate OGG file that way you can just enqueue them both and it'll sound ok, but whatever you decide to do is fine oh & thank you for doing this.

& also fantastic news, i am now very pleased to say that i have fixed my computer myself Screw technicians who needs them when i can do it myself & i am very pleased with myself, so i got vista back on it cause i needed to, to reboot, them I'll dual boot XP on it so i can have both of them, install all the necessary drivers for it, Install all the programs i need for the computer, like Adobe Audition, Winamp etc & i will start looping the way i used to HURRAY!! Apparently it is. Track 12 is supposed to be called "The Trick Manor," according to Chudah's Corner, but it's listed as "Clockwork Mansion" on the site.

EVERYONE LOOK!!! actually it's not that important but the front page has now been organized around to make it look that little bit neater & thanks again to Lawrence_Bastard for showing me how to do it.

Note: the only thing i need to fix on the front page are some of the links that say file not found, it seems to only do that for rapidshare links, so if anyone can tell me how to fix that problem i will fix it, so everything is accesable from the main page, that way you don't have to navigate around this thread to find the loops you want.

I just seem to have a tad of a problem, where for some reason Adobe Audition decided to not run & when i uninstalled it to reinstall it still thinks its on the computer & won't allow me to install, but i only just figured that out today so it hopefully won't take long + on top of that i am now back at school so it can get pretty tiring from starting at 8 - 5 everyday.

Still having trouble.

Not anymore today i just rebooted my PC got Vista Business back on it instead of Shitty Home Edition & i managed to get Adobe Audition Installed on it, so i'll start looping when i get all the other necessary stuff back on my PC & srry about the wait eh

Hi. I'm new the Final Fantasy Shrine. I'm looking for high-quality loops of the Sonic CD Japanese music or "kits" containing the intro, middle and end of each song, especially the "Wacky Workbench" and "Stardust Speedway" themes. I found several sites having loops, including Sonic Retro, but they seemed poor in quality.

Also, Woz, the link you posted with the lossless Sonic music rips didn't work for me. It just went to some place called soniconthenet or something. Please help.

nivek327: i will have a look for it, but this is a looping forum, so technically i don't go out and find albums, but i won't say no, i just won't make it a top top priority, but if i do find it, i will post it for you

Three tracks I would love for a long loop(like 7-10 minutes) would be the two boss tracks from Final Fantasy 4 and the 'Super Boss' track from Final Fantasy 6. That would be great if you could do that. I suppose it's kind of weird, but I'd really appreciate it(mp3 format too).

ah right sorry about that it's just that i always save them as OGG files, that way they loop really well & perfectly in Winamp & Game Making Software, if u dont have winamp u should give it a try if all your doing is listening to them, but i will do them as mp3's if u like
