anywayz, just wanted ta show my avatar's new "evolution"! and to Raganok whom I haven't heard of for a long time, the idea I had in mind fo my character Leaf, without the backgroud that is! me lousy at backgrounds ^^;; the colors aren't in any way as "glowing" and "sharp" as the real one but I've figured scanners don't like green much O_o
btw Rag, our drawing came out on my fave computer magazine! ^_^

Well... been away for a looong time, and still ain't got much time for anythin, but here's my best work so far. it didn't take much imagination though ^^; it's my 50kg dog. I altered a few stuff on the light&shadow, background rez and stuff but it's basicaly an amplified picture.
(all dark graphitte, no computer treatment)

Impressive Concept renderings. How did color those? Because they look like they were colored with pencils or creyons. Keep up the good work!

actually it's just an 8B pure graphite pencil, ya know, those really dark ones, pure black. Oh, and I used what we call a "smudge" I dunno the name in english and a piece of toilet paper helps for larger areas, lol! this wasn't made in front of my dog cos he wouldn't keep that eye expression for more than 2 secs! LOL! it's made from a really quick snapshot my sis managed to get. I used the grid technique to help with the proportions cos this was amplified to an A3 paper! I usually rather do it plain and simple look&draw with no guidelines whatsoever but A3 is far too big for me, hehe :D

Wow! Truely amazing stuff. You're awesome with both black and white and color. How long have you been drawing? I'm pretty good with the ol' No.2 but I have some trouble with colored pencils because the dont "smudge" or erase as well. I think I need to get out to an art supply shop and see what they've got. Keep up the great work, I look forward to seeing more of it.

That dog picture is really impressive. No wonder it's your best work. It's quite detailed. You even drew the grass and everything. You must be proud of yourself, and you should be.
