Hey guys -- I just beat Yunalesca last night, but I didn't know about any of the celestial weapons etc until AFTER I beat her and already exited the dome. Does anyone know if it's at all possible to go back into the area where I battled her to get the Sun Crest or am I just screwed?
(I'm playing the US version, not the international one)

When I tried to go back in really quick, it looked like the cloister of trials had been totally reset. Uh oh...?

Sorry. I believe there is no other way to get back into the Cloister of Trials once exited. Once you leave, you cannot get back in. Generally, it is best to save game before leaving the place and to make sure that you have all the necessary.

There is nothing stopping you from re-entering any of the cloisters except the Bevelle one. You can indeed go back to Yunalesca's room if you missed the sun crest the first time through.

You will have to complete the trial again though, thus why when you re-entered the room it had reset.

Oh my gosh, that's awesome to hear! I'll gladly re-do the trial (as long as I don't have to kill Yunalesca again haha)

I just remembered that as soon as you exited the Yunalesca area there was some sort of door shutting that didn't allow you to go back after saving. That's probably what's contributing to my confusion...

Really? That means I can get back to Djose later into the game.. Although the ultimate weapons and anima doesn't matter much to me, since I can beat the game without it. Still... Its interesting to get the powerful aeon and some ultimate weapons. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

I am still having a hard time finding those crests and sigils.. I only got 2 pieces at the moment, yet my next location is Bevelle.

When you go back to the cloister of trials in Zanarkand you don't have to do it again. Just step up to the elevator thing where the one boss fight was and it'll come back for you. The trials does reset where you can do an optional thing to get seven white squares and that will get you the destruction sphere to put in the tv thing in the next room. You need to do this if you want to get Anima.

If you are from Europe or have the FFX International edition you have to fight Dark/Black Bahamut if you reenter Yunalescas chamber. The dark/black Aeons are superpowered Aeons. Just for a little shock: the dark Anima has 8 Million HP ;) If you beat all dark Aeons you can fight 'Penance'. Penance is the ultimate enemy in the european FFX / FFX international.

Penance picture:

The dark Aeons look exactly like the Yu-Yevon possesed Aeons. Only MUCH stronger.

8 million HP? ......simply speechless

I even had problems fighting Yenke and Biran who had more than 100,000 HP. However, 8 million HP. Unfortunately, my version isn't the European or International one, I don't get to fight the Dark Aeons. Anyways, thanks to the OP here, I managed to grab the Sun Crest for that reason!

Dark Bahamut had 4 million HP. Dark Anima has 8 million HP.
