Bahamut along with the other aeons are fayths. Fayths happen to be warriors who fought and died. Since the beginning of the game, there is a little boy in a hood and happen to have a pyrefly aura way back in Dream Zanarkand, the homeland of Tidus and Shuyin. Dream Zanarkand is the recreation of the destroyed Zanarkand that happened 1000 years before Tidus's era. And about the little boy who showed up throughout the game and even at the start, isn't that Bahamut???

In Final Fantasy X-2, the sequel.. When Yuna, Rikku, and Paine battles the Dark Aeons. When Dark Bahamut gets defeated, the little boy appeared again to apologize and explain that they were under manipulation, which was later assumed as the influence of Shuyin's resentment. Anyone who played both games know whether the little boy with the pyreflies' aura is Bahamut or not??? I am not sure, yet based on these facts, its possible.

I believe that is Bahamut. I finally received the aeon and that seems to be it.

That boy is indeed Bahamaut. It's pretty easy to tell just by looking on the back of his robe; it's the same halo-thing the dragon has. Also, Yojimbo and his pet is nothing but a human and dog, but when you acquire them, they're different. I don't know why that is but it is either way.

It is. More evidence that hasn't been mentioned yet, is during the dream sequence on Mt. Gagazet, the boy says "Remember me? We met in Bevelle."

He is Bahamut, although the X-2 sequence doesn't make sense. At the end of X, they all disappeared because the stopped dreaming. (And thus finally died, I imagine). So how could he return in X-2?

you answered your own question. they made it obvious that the fayths were somehow related to the said aeons.

Inoringo, the boy, is definitely Bahamut. One thing(but i think you've know this) if you're going back to the temples after you fight yunalesca you will meet the fayths of the aeons. I was surprised that valefor's fayth is a woman....i thought valefor was a man...
