I just finished watching Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni Kai episode 20. I noticed in the next episode preview that Rika says, "Children should not watch."
I've been following Higurashi since they began showing it last year. They showed people being bashed with a baseball bat, the protagonist ripping his throat out, and an 8 year old being crucified and tortured. Not to mention the last story arc ending with the entire village being gassed holocaust style with the runaways being gunned down.
Yet there was no warning up until this episode, which is close to marking the end of season 2. Does this mean that they consider the next episode to be fucked up enough to warrant a warning?
