yeah really the music in Assassin's Creed is awesome. I picked up the game yesterday and while I have only played it a bit, so far it is truly awesome and yeah the music is REALLY good in my opinion . . ... bummer there is no offical soundtrack though. I bought the Mass Effect and Halo 3 ones and I really wanted Assassin's . . .oh well

The 360 version of the game has bigfiles which are .forge extensions, no luck , as the game uses the 360's XMA format, the ps3 version i don't know because the disc is in Blu-ray and i have no blu-ray burner.

Oh wow I thought I was the only one who does that!

The music also makes me harder for the guards to catch me because it has me so pumped lol especially when the flutes come in over the modern element of the track.

Hello all! I might as well start off with a good first post.

First I would like to thank those who linked to the music files. I was looking for 06_Access_The_Animus which stands out for me (I haven't even played AC yet but saw videos on YouTube).

Now the song is great. But I have a habit of listening to the same song over and over for hours sometimes and I felt the song was too long (10 mins) as I like to hear the meaty bit aka the last bit in an interval of say 3 mins. It's what most songs do where they have the intro and then it builds up to the finale. SO I edited the song to 3:21 using Gold Wave. (I'm not a professional but I did my best and I thought others might share my habit so I thought I'd share it. Took an hour D:

I don't mean to insult the creator but when I downloaded the song I wasn't expecting it to be so long :)

I basically cut out bits; lowered volume where I felt was needed and raised the volume on the last bit by 50 %.

I love 8:00 onwards except for that random flute bit which I cut out. Well I didn't really want to change the song much just shorten it. Why you could loop it yourself if you wanted. Just get Goldwave or something similar (perhaps better) and just cut out that bit and somehow loop it.

I would like to download the remix of Access the Animus but I can't download ANYTHING from Rapidshare for free anymore since they employed this stupid cat thing on the verification code for downloading. Can anyone tell me how I am supposed to do this? It says enter only the symbols attached to a cat but every letter has a cat on it!

Yeah but they appear to ALL have cats on them? Those stupid squiggles they call "drawings" are barely recognisable...I can't tell the difference between a dog, fish, cat, gorilla, antelope etc. because if they're not upside-down, backwards or bent over backwards then they're simply so poorly drawn it's impossible to tell what the frick they're supposed to be!

The best way to recognize the cats is, to look at the ears. But actually I use Cryptload for downloading stuff, which recognizes them automatically.
