here are some of the poems i have written over the last 4 or 5 years.
some are pretty emo, (but they were written like 5 years back so that is a good excuse i suppose)

20 minutes of mindless daydreaming

Love is deaf and love is blind,
Love will leave our souls behind.
We wake blindly from the past,
Love comes first and faith comes last.
People say to love each other,
Shes my sister! He�s my brother!
The son of man just like before,
Equality is found through war.
If we unite and rise again,
Love thy neighbour kill thy friend.
And make our oppressors crawl
Babylon did never fall.
For there to be good, there has to be sin
Something, which we hold within
Everybody grab your swords
We shall let sip the dogs of war
Legal in another time
Without murder, without crime
People think that we depend
Will this torture never end?
The four horsemen are drawing near
I will live another year
But who needs prophecy to guide our eyes
I can make up mystic lies
Will I open curly gates?
Kill my self or simply wait?
Re-interpret what I�m told,
Or meditate till I grow old?
If I follow every word,
Will my voice ever be heard?
Will I stand out in a crowd?
For my cry is not so loud.
So can I leave this body now?
Too many views too many sounds.
So I leave you with just thoughts,
About our world and what we�re taught.
Will we get what we deserve?
Can the meek just take the earth?
Is there really one true way?
Will love prevail on judgement day?

The forgotten heroes.

We all shall march in single file,
It keeps us sated for a while.
Whilst dying blind to all around,
Will keep us safe from any sound.

We all shall fall into the dark,
Whilst heroes stay and make their mark.
The others drown to let them pass,
Their feats are lost like shards of glass.

When one man gets the glory still
And heroes lie, their bodies ill
Then we shall see the truth revealed
Of how these many fates are sealed

And we shall know of fields of war
Of one man rewarded for the work of four
And how he takes what they deserve
And how he’s repaid when he leaves this earth.

Dear Adam.

My Lilith has left me,
My eve is corrupt,
This mountainous Eden
Will surely erupt.
My god has forsaken
The serpent does hiss,
And man shall revisit
What angels do miss.

The holy is shaken
This heart of mine shook
My love for my lover
More true than some book.
This heart has been tainted
By ghosts in the night
My beautiful partner
Now shivers in fright.

So Eden awaken,
And unfold you wings
And let her not know
Of these terrible things,
And let her see visions
That no one can see
And let her hear songs
That remind her of me.

So when I awaken
She’ll be in my arms
Ill hide her away
From all the worlds harms.
So this prayer comes
From the depths of my heart
Dear Adam, may me and her
Never be apart.

Practice more your good... not great. but such is expected;).

these are ones i wrote about quite a few years ago and i can't be bothered to do any more. :-P i am putting them up a few at a time so that i get gradual feedback.

I also like it because of the religious tone.
Keep 'em coming.

They're not bad, but too many cliched lines and rhymes seriously brings a lot of it down.
