I was wondering what the highest Quickening Chain anyone has ever had. I've made my record at 26, but my friend Chris attempted at Zeromus and made a stunning 40-chain in Quickenings.

Anyone else had higher?

My highest is around 35 as far as I can remember. Sometimes I just run about trying to get a high as possible chain, but it doesn't matter all that much to me, to be honest. Though, ofcourse, a high chain means alot of damage.

23, I think. I have no problem getting the concurrences I want, though. So it all evens out, I suppose.

How the heck you can get 40 is beyond me. You'd need to get over 10 quickenings a second, so you need to be both quick and extremely lucky.

i got 19 when i fought Fefnir...but i havent been able to beat that yet

My friend Chris says, "I have no idea either! I'll tell you one thing though: My adrenaline was overflowing and I was really hyper for some reason. As the chain got higher, I looked at AuronTheMaster and gasped and nearly shit my pants. Bad thing was, I died when fighting Zeromus at lvl 29, not knowing how difficult an Esper he was. Another bad thing, once the adrenaline wore off, I crashed like a cement airplane. That sucked!"

By the way, I remembered, it wasn't 40, it was 46! xD

Not trying to brag or anything, just updating with new numbers.

46 is astounding. It's been a while since I played, so I don't know my exact number, but I think it was only ever like 20 at the most. To get that, though, and then not win because of a really low-level party must have been depressing, though. But being that low-leveled and even making it to him is an achievement in itself.

My highest was about....14...I never really practiced Quickenings, in fact I kind of ignored them the entire game :P

My highest was about 21, I think. I had gotten Black Hole with about 19 though.

I'm horrible at Quickenings. Think nine is my highest.

20 is my highest. it was the frist time i got black hole

12, i just got 3 characters to have quickenings so i am still trying

For those that are still having trouble with Quickenings and Concurrences, try the guide of mine in the last post of this thread (Thread 34683) that's mentioned in the forum charter. I also highly recommend the thread linked at the end of that guide as well, Remember, you need every Concurrence if you're looking to complete the Sky Pirate's Den.

Oh god, concurrences. I spent like 4 hours late one night trying to get freakin' black hole.

My highest was about 30+. I can't remember the exact number. It's been a while since I've played FFXII, let alone turn my PS2 on.

My heart was thumping the whole time the quickenings came up until I pressed the wrong button... and I was like "damn it".

i have achieved 16 quickenings. That was hard. it was one time only

22 for me. Fran died while fighting the Demon Wall and I went, "oh s***!" and did a quickening with just Basch and Baltheir. They kept chaining and I only had to charge three times. I didn't think that was possible. D:

A little late and almost a month later, but my record so far is 16, but I've seen videos on YouTube of people doing 99 chains but I'm guessing they did something to glitch it

Yeah, I would think 99 would be a glitch. 16 isn't bad, though not thrilling either. Have you tried any of the tips we've posted?

I think there may have been a tip or two posted in this thread, but there's some good info in the thread about Quickenings that I believe is linked somewhere in this one, and I think also in the Charter.

99 IMO is a glitch because i saw a video on youtube and it didn't use Mist charge!

Just poned the Antlion and Orthros and "Belito"s asses with 22 and 23 Quickening Chain.
