I've recently developed an ear for epic orchestral songs, with Latin chorus (Ace Combat is good for this :D).

Right now I have:

Ace Combat 0- ZERO (sounds more like a Flamenco dance, lol)
Ace Combat 0- Excalibur (no chorus, but certainly epic)
Ace Combat 4- Megalith/Agnus Dei
Ace Combat 5- The Unsung War (=D)
Castlevania: DXC- Tu es Deus Meus (one of the best boss themes [i]ever[/])
Castlevania: DXC- Illusionary Dance
Castlevania: DXC- Ending

Feel free to add your own suggestions.

Definately, the Hymmnos songs in Ar tonelico and the recently released Ar tonelico II. I've played Ar tonelico and the Hymmnos songs made the battles they were played in, so incredibly epic. The chorus isn't in Latin but in a specially created language for the game called Hymmnos.

"Communication Breakdown" - Xenosaga II (Movie Scene OST)
"Vergil 3" - Devil May Cry 3

"Fantasia Alla Marcia" - Kingdom Hearts II
"Metal Gear Solid 3 Main theme" - MGS3
"The 3 Karma" - Shadow Hearts: Covenant
"Lady Tears II" - Shadow Hearts: From the New World
"The Opened Way" - Shadow of the Colossus
"Gatekeeper of the Castle Ruins" - Shadow of the Colossus

These don't really have lyrics, but they do have choirs and certainly are epic.

Firstly, A Toccata in Blood Soaked Darkness from Castlevania Curse of Darkness is very powerful. The organ always creates an epic feel in any music (well, a lot of music).

Also, Gothic Neclord from Suikoden 2 (not the in game version, but rather the version found on another CD whose name I forget) is very powerful, and like in the above piece, the organ is very dramatic.

I'd post some with actual lyrics, but my favourites are the Castlevania ones you already posted (Tues Dues Meus and March of the Holy Man)

I strongly recommend Duel of the Fates or Neodammerung. Neither are from games, and both are sung in sanskrit, but they are damn good, I think.

Don't forget:
Super Smash Bros Brawl - main theme
Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria - "Unrestrained Struggle"
Final fantasy VIII "Fithos Lusec Wecos Vinosec" and "Liberi Fatali
Final Fantasy VII - "One-Winged Angel" (I don't particulary like this one, but it's undeniable its powerful composition and those grandiose Latin chorus).

And I'm feeling in a good mood today. For those who don't have a PSP or the patience to look for the soundtrack, the Castlevania: Dracula X Chronicles melodies mentioned in the first post of this topic:

A good number of them are already in GH so there is no need to upload them.

Ace Combat 0 (http://gh.ffshrine.org/soundtracks/6727) - Zero, Excalibur
Ace Combat 4 (http://gh.ffshrine.org/soundtracks/1009) - Megalith/Agnus Dei
Ace Combat 5 (http://gh.ffshrine.org/soundtracks/1010) - The Unsung War
Ar to (http://gh.ffshrine.org/soundtracks/3204)nelico (http://gh.ffshrine.org/soundtracks/2531)
Devil May Cry 3 (http://gh.ffshrine.org/soundtracks/529) - Vergil Battle 3
FFVII: Advent Children (http://gh.ffshrine.org/soundtracks/6626) - Divinity
Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix (http://gh.ffshrine.org/soundtracks/83) - Another Side
Metal Gear Solid 3 (http://gh.ffshrine.org/soundtracks/249) -Main theme (althought I wouldn't call them really "chorus", when you are in the game the song does play that way)
Shadow Hearts: From the New World (http://gh.ffshrine.org/soundtracks/2567) - Lady Tears II
Soul Calibur 2 (http://gh.ffshrine.org/soundtracks/605) - Hellfire
Tekken 5 (http://gh.ffshrine.org/soundtracks/859) - Ground Zero Funk
Xenosaga I (http://gh.ffshrine.org/soundtracks/610) - Gnosis
Xenosaga II (Movie Scene OST) (http://gh.ffshrine.org/soundtracks/2361) - Communication Breakdown
Xenosaga III (http://gh.ffshrine.org/soundtracks/5509) - Godsibb and Promised Pain
Shadow of the Colossus (http://gh.ffshrine.org/soundtracks/773)

And some external sites have them uploaded as well:

Final Fantasy VII - One Winged Angel
http://www.ffdream.com/?cat=downld&rub=ostff7

Final Fantasy VIII - Liberi Fatali and Fithos Lusec Wecos Vinosec
http://www.ffdream.com/?cat=downld&rub=ostff8

Kingdom Hearts II - Fantasia Alla Marcia
http://www.ffdream.com/?cat=downld&rub=ostkh2

Only the very new ones are probably in need of that.

OH! And in case you don't recognize them, I believe "Duel of the Fates" is from Star Wars Episode I and "Neodammerung" from Matrix Revolutions. I agree with ggctuk2005, they are excellent melodies, and they really fit here.

-> Fire Emblem Theme / The Legend of Zelda Theme from Super Smash Bros. Brawl - sample (FE) on the official site, but if someone wants it I can host the complete version
-> 57 - Boss - Solaris (http://www.4shared.com/dir/1385870/7a022f15/next-gen.html) - for a Sonic game, it's quite impressive. The part 2 is fine too, but doesn't have the chorus.

If you want epic / choral sounds look for these two well-known composers:
Kajiura Yuki and Yoko Kanno. Kajiura's forte is blending choral with synth and rock sounds (eg Godsibb - Xenosaga III), but Kanno is more diverse since she's been around longer. Try stuff that she made with Gabriela Robin as the singer.

Alternatively, there's also Nightwish (in English) and Sound Horizon with revo as the composer...

Suzaku Dragon, you should definitely check the topic named "[discuss only] Trailer Music...".
Ok, you won't find links there, but what you want (orchestral & choir) is exactly what we love soooo much on that topic. You'll discover companies such as X Ray Dog, Immediate Music, Two Steps From Hell, Future World Music and tons of others. Try samples there: http://www.twostepsfromhell.com/index-home.php
(samples of Dynasty, Nemesis, Legend) and tell us if it's what you're looking for...
Search on the other companies' websites too, and companies Myspaces, like

Although this seems to be quite an old thread, for those who are interested in this genre, I'll point you in the right direction!

To say the least, these are the names of artists/composers, and many of their work will come from film. None are from games or anything:

Immediate Music, particularly their album Trailerhead.
Globus, and their album Epicon.
Hans Zimmer, various tracks.
Harry Gregson-Williams, various tracks.
James Newton Howard, various tracks.

From there, I'm sure you'll find a plethora of music in this genre, however, this list is perfect for anyone wishing to delve into it!
