It's not possible to make a game in one month, true, but to make the game in a period of a year or so, and have multible, several-years-long efforts going on simlutaneously, in order to produce them to their end products at one month intervals, is. In fact, that's what Square and Enix had both done since their respective inceptions, and hence what Square-Enix has done since the merger, allowing the company to release numerous RPG's in a single year. The same people can be on more than one project, so long as you have enough staff to keep a decent percentage of the workers on a given project dedicated. The number of games that Square-Enix, Sqare, and Enix, have produced since the independant inceptions of said companies greatly out numbers the combined age of the current company, and it's two component predecessors. It is not a matter of speedy production, but a matter of slowing production slightly so as to multitask and output a broader range of products. Final Fantasy is not the only franchise that Square-Enix has, and I guarantee you, Square-Enix has not halted production on other games in order to produce the "Fabula Nova Crystalis" Compilation. They have not survived as a company for as long as they have by habitually putting their eggs in one basket. Even if FFXIII flops the biggest ever, there will still be an FFXIV, and that's simply because Square's survival is not dependant on the sucess of any one game... FFXIV would be totally different from FFXIII if FFXIII flops, but there will still be one. This is all hypothetical of course, for it is very doubtful that FFXIII will flop, simply because the amount of people, who would literally buy a bag of dog shit, if it had the name Final Fantasy on it, are numerous enough to ensure the game will be profitable. So the game can suck, but there is no way it will flop... and I don't think it will even suck if it actually lives up to even half the hype... still I still calls it likes I sees it, Ultima VII vs. Highlander II says I.

i'm used to waiting for ff by now luckily I'm not one of those all other rpg's besides final fantasy suck and they only rip off of what ff has done and tetsuya nomura should be made a saint kind of person so I will have plenty to do during the wait. lol I did buy xenosaga episodes 1 and 2 and I like it so far but I still havent finished FFXII so I can wait a while. I mean from the way it looks FFXIII is going for a FFVII kind of feel (again) so If I want that I can play FFVII.

I don't mind waiting. FFXII : Revenant Wings didn't come too long ago, and I don't have a PS3 yet anyway. I would want to game to be as complete as possible, since a lot of the games seemed to be missing things here and there, and were never really finished. I don't mind waiting for that.

I'll revise my predictions for Fall 2009 for FF XIII in Usa, Fall 2010 for FF Versus XIII in Usa, and for FF Agito XIII, I'm not sure when it will come out in Usa. This is because I think that Usa cellphones aren't as good as Japanese cellphones right? Also, not sure when the 4G cellphone network/system for FF Agito XIII will be out.

I hold no credence to D-Day predictions. It'll happen when it happens. Could be today, could be tomorrow, maybe not even in our lifetimes. I hope that for our sake should D-Day come during our lifetime that it's not something pussified. I'm predicting a Viral outbreak... Resident Evil style. YEAH!

On another note. I'd rather Square take their time and make a solid Final Fantasy rather than rush it out and it suck something horrible. I don't expect it until at the EARLIEST Q4 2009. I wouldn't hold my breath however.
