They had a thread like this in FF9 forum, and I thought 'Why not in here?' I didn't see the anything like this here...

So, which actors/actressies would you choose to FF8 characters?

My choices would probably be these:

Squall- David Boreanaz (if you have watched Buffy or the movie Valentine, you probably don't have to ask)

Rinoa- Kate Winslet

Zell- Sean William Scott

Quistis- Sarah Michelle Gellar (or someone British... I can imagine Quistis has a Brit accent)

Selphie- Cameron Diaz or Alyson Hannigan

Irvine- I can image he has a same voice as that guy from 1st Survivor... What was his name again?... Greg? Otherwise... Orlando Bloom

Seifer- I don't know... Brendan Fehr???

Laguna- Johnny Depp or Brendan Fraser

Edea- Uma Thurman

Cid- Jon Voight

OK, i won't close this, but as long as this doesn't get chatty and spammy. The minute it gets like that, it's shut down... Just a fair warning.

Squall - Josh Hartnett. The first time I saw Squall, I thought he looked so much like Josh Hartnett.

Rinoa - Not Kate Winslet, that's for sure.:eye: Zang Ziyi looks a lot like Rinoa, imo, but she can't speak English very well. Maybe we can have Lucy Liu to do the voice, and Zang Ziyi do the acting?

Zell - Ryan Reynolds... a bit skinnier, though. The smile and the hair makes him look a lot like Zell.

Quistis - Jennie Garth. I bet she looks a lot like Quistis if she wears glasses.

Irvine - Matthew McConaughey. Somebody tell me that he doesn't look like Irvine. ;)

Selphie - Jennifer Lopez would be appropriate since she did star a romance movie with Matthew McConaughey(The Wedding Planner).

Laguna - Ben Affleck, with long hair, of course.

Seifer - Seann William Scott. They have the same built, with the same blonde hair, and same smirk.

Edit: Yeah, I realise that the topic says voices. If it's just voices then it can be anybody. I just throw in the looks for fun.

THe only actors I can agree with Aeris to is

Laguna- Johnny Depp or Brendan Frasier.

It seems that both would make an alright part. Preferably Brendan.

...If you ask me, I look a lot like Laguna, Irvine, and Sephiroth (FF7)...or atleast I can make myself look like them....but I'm no hollywood guy...boo-hoo for them.

I meant VOICE acts, I clarife... Real-time actors/actressies is a different thing.

Just wanted to say, that probably is more easier to find real-time actors, so do however you want. But those I mentioned up there, are voice actors.

And in that case that we are talking about real-life actors, I agree with megalomania up there, that Josh Hartnett DOES look a lot like Squall. *I forgot that guy totally* :D
