To be short:
Those are the same game (and thus the same album)

But in fact it's even more easier:

The Path of the Warrior: Art of Fighting 3 (US title)
=
Ryuuko no Ken Gaiden (Jap Translated Title)
=
Art of Fighting Well-Matched Contest Story
(i don't know why it's been called like this, and it have no sense at all, but i guess it's probably a sub-title for the AST album, i am not sure..) but this name is only used to name that album and not the game i am sure of this.

The official AST album for AoF 3 have the catalog number PCCB-00213 and have 19 tracks (some drama tracks beetween remixes).

So what is this: "Art of Fighting / Ryuuko no Ken - Neo Sound Orchestra"???

"Neo Sound Orchestra" is another of those bad translation..
It's in fact the "OST" of Art of Fighting 1 [PCCB-00101]

Ok let me explain you, you know there is an official band for the old SNK soundtracks, that is called "New World Music Performance Group" (or at least the band's name is translated like this nowadays)

In the old SNK soundtracks, you could see the logo of the band, and on the Art of Fighting 1 OST, the band logo was subtitled with "Neo Sound Orchestra".

There are a lot of translation mistakes on official albums, since translation are often made without seeing the covers (that can clear up a few things).

If you got any other question, do not hesitate.

Fighter's History Dynamite - Perfect Soundtrack ~From Insanity DVD~
Garou Densetsu 2 (Fatal Fury 2) - Electric Shock CD Library ~Arata-naru tatakai~
Garou Densetsu Special (Fatal Fury Special) - Electric Shock CD Library
King Of Fighters '94 - Electric Shock CD Library

I listened "Tears" from "King Of Fighters-Best Arrange Collection ~Since 94 To 00~" and it sounded kinda different to me from original arranged "Tears".is this album a re-arrange???

- If i remember well, "King Of Fighters-Best Arrange Collection ~Since 94 To 00~" is completely Re-Arranged, and it is not a best of album.

- I have not much information about "Electric Shock CD Library CDs"..
I know these were little packages, they were packaged as a slipcover (with a book-style, wraparound "obi" paper, as opposed to the "spine-card" style obi found on CDs), and included a softcover book and jewel-cased CD (and sometimes postcards...).

For example:

- Finally, the "Fighter's History Dynamite - Perfect Soundtrack ~From Insanity DVD~", is a soundtrack from the Insanity DVD Collection (http://www.tanomi.com/insanity/), and contains the music of the MVS release of "Fighter's History Dynamite", 64 tracks long.

"Electric Shock CD Library" is an awful translation. It literally means "Electronic Book CD". Those CD's are drama CD's, that's why they used the "CD book" term

"King Of Fighters-Best Arrange Collection ~Since 94 To 00~" is a CD with re-arranges; it was released as a prelude to KOF 2000, the CD is quite interesting, it has a SKA arrange for Still Green, a Tears version by TATE_NORIO and the original recording of "00", which was later sampled to Neo Geo. They subtitled ~Since 94 To 00~ because it has at least one new arrange of a track on each game; this is not completely true because they included Cool Jam as part of KOF'98 and there's no tracks from that game (IMO, thay could have chosen "In Spite of One's Age).

Ryuuko no Ken/Neo Sound Orchestra; that was what the CD said at one of the sides. When the "Shinsekai" was founded, SNK named the band as "Neo Sound Orchestra" and the group of writers "Shinsekai Gakkyoku Zatsugidan", in the booklet it is stated that the music was written by the "Shinsekai" and track 1 (ART OF FIGHT Tribal Mix) is performed by the Neo Sound Orchestra. That denomination didn't last long.
There was also the "Shinsekai Kangengakudan", this is how they called the Symphonic they hired for the Symphonic albums

The closest translations are:
"Shinsekai Gakkyoku Zatsugidan": New World (Neo Geo) Group of Music writers, arrangers and performers.
"Shinsekai Kangengakudan": New World Orchestra
Now you see why some just call them NeoGeo Performance Group

As for the AOF3 soundtracks, I think someone possibly used babelfish to translate the name of the game. The actual name is:
ART OF FIGHTING Ryuuko no Ken Gaiden=ART OF FIGHTING Fists of the Dragon and Tiger Side Story
In Japanese when something is called "Gaiden" it means is an alternate story or a story with little or no relation to the original storyline. In this game, the starring is Robert and not Ryo and it takes place in Mexico instead of South Town; Robert and Ryo go to Mexico to help Robert's childhood friend Freia with a problem regarding Wyler's transformation. That's why this game was considered the "Gaiden" of the series.
Neither the OST or AST have any subtitle that approaches to that "Well-Matched Contest Story" nonsense

Hey thanks a lot emuxer for even more clarification.

I did not know those "Book CD" were drama, and that explains why they can't be found outside Japan (since dramas does not interest anyone but collectors).

I can't stand these labelling mistakes.. and i think they should not put artists or performers on album names (i am talking about the "Ryuuko no Ken/Neo Sound Orchestra") but now every wiki page names it like this.

And this "Well-Matched Contest Story" is just silly.. This album should be called "Arrange Sound Trax" like it is shown on the front cover.

I am not sure but i guess the Tsuukai GAN GAN Koushinkyoku (aggressors of dark combat) album was also mistranslated.

And what about last blade ? (Flowers Blooming on the Moon, Flowers Scattering on the Wind)

yeah there are lots of mistranslations out there but AoF 3 AST album is not just music,it has also some drama tracks too,"Well-Matched Contest Story" kinda fits that :D
anyway,i have another queston, what is the difference between Image Album and Arranged Soundtrack???
