Just curious. About the animation when Brahne attacked to Lindblum, did your Playstation overload? I mean, was the movie clumsy? I had the same phenomenom when Bahamut attacked to Alexandria too.

I don't know about your question, but please don't advertise for your family.. The family thread wasn't closed for nothing. Things got out of hand, signatures got incredibly large, etc. So.. please.. don't XD

Ah, sounds like the overheated PSX pehnonomeon again! Try placing the PSX on the side, this resets the laser lens so it will read data correctly. Also, the disc may be dirty or have scratches on it. Wipe any dirt or dust off it with a dry cloth before using. If it's badly scratched, there isn't much that can be done except perhaps throw it out and buy a new one(yes, I know there are ways to repair badly scratched CDs, but in my experience they are too expensive and time consuming). Hope this fixes your unfortunate problem.

No, I can't say mine has it. Are you sure it's just not part of the FMV? 'Cause there is a lot of shaking. Otherwise..problems with the prongs (or adapter, depending on what you have) or game itself? Maybe just a copy wth a glitch in it..? Check a friends copy or hope this forum gets more replies.

I have never had that happen to me when I was playing FF9. But my friends have got a chip in their playstation and that causes it to screw up, so when it is not working properly, they turn it upside down, then it generally works. So try that and it may possibly work for you now.

It happens when ur PSX gets old. When i first got FF9 i had to wait a minute for one of vivis magic to loads. Get a canister of compressed air (made specially for cleaning PCs) and spray it through the vents. This should remove dust, and as for overheating, try not play for more than 2 or 3 hours straight.
