On Akadot.com (http://www.akadot.com/) (a very popular anime site) has posted the winners of its annual "Akars", which are its annual anime awards.

Well, Yoshitaka Amano (famed and fabled character designer for Final Fantasy, among other things) won for Best Character Design for his work on Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust. VHD also one Best Theatrical Feature.
