Here is what I believe is the best 'oeuvre' by the legendary French composer, a score that truly fascinates with its offbeat and dark ambiance while scaring the listener in a manner that would make the fear even more enjoyable. No other score has left me with that deeply saddening feeling, and yet powerful meaning, as a matter of fact I'm still kind of confused by the immense depth of it, sometimes I feel it goes way beyond my understanding. Anyway, I do certainly hope you espouse it, just like I did about ten years ago. So, for your own downloading pleasure, Jacob's Ladder (http://www.sendspace.com/file/x81sm7) brought to you using lossless compression.

I can't believe that someone actually is sharing Jacob's Ladder's music. It's my all time favorite movie! I had no idea that they had actually released the music to this movie. I'll certainly enjoy this immensely. Thanks a lot.

Jacob's Ladder was released by Varse Sarabande (http://www.varesesarabande.com/) (4005939529123) the same year the movie came out but is now out of print, unfortunately. You can always try and scrounge eBay for a real copy if you really want it.

By the way, I too happen to be a great fan of the flick. This movie is some sort of miracle to me, especially from a director such as Adrian Lyne, involving a great story which contains multiple layers of understanding. I never grow tired of watching it.

Same here. This is one that I do not grow tired of watching. It is so layered that I get new meanings and understandings from each viewing. Every little detail seem to mean something somehow. When I was younger I was simply gripped by the intensity of the film, now I watch the movie for its amazing depth and multitude of meanings.

Hehe, it's cool to have someone share their enthusiasm! Now does the music somehow live up to your expectations?

It's hard for me to describe how this music feels to me. It is so beautiful and deeply devastating at the same time. Really reminds me that heaven and hell can really be the same thing, it all depends on how you take it.

I usually don't care if my music files are in mp3 or lossless, but this is one soundtrack that I'd like to have in FLAC.

Here (http://rapidshare.com/files/170978814/MR-JL.rar) you go.
