Anyone looking forward to this movie? I sure am despite how awful the last one turned out.

Also, I'm not sure if this is the appropriate place to ask this, but seeing as this board appears to permit downloads (for anime at least) I heard a rumor that there was a torrent of it online and the spoiler's been leaked. Does anyone know if there's a legit torrent anywhere? I found a fake one...

Sorry if I can't ask this, but all the forums that said something about download requests seem to mainly be for game music and anime and whatever. So... I'm pretty sure this should be allowed, but if its in the wrong forum move it I guess.

I'm more looking forward to Saw VIII: Sawn.

Seriously, I think they are constantly filming these movies. I still have yet to watch one.

Now it really is getting lame, how many times can you take a bunch of guys and torture them?

Three more times than needed.

I agree, I Loved Saw, But I don't think we need more than 3, it's already repeating itself. Saw III had a small change of direction in the storyline by focusing on two people, but i agree a 4th is not necessary, and IV doesn't look that good from the trailers. Zak6009, go to a torrent site and ask if you can steal it.

Saw 1 looked good, but I never got around to watching any. I think they should've ended the series at II before they made an ass of themselves and ruin the series. I haven't watched III mind you, but how interesting can a serial killer get on the 3rd and 4th film.

only watched the 1st and 2nd, they were okay but not good enough to want to watch the 3rd or 4th :-\

Much as I enjoyed the first three films, I agree that they're going a bit overboard with them now.

Saying that though, most likely I'll still end up watching this one at some point.

I dunno, to be honest I liked all three movies. But after seeing three, I felt like it was concluded really. The end felt definative so the series should have stopped there. I am totally not looking forward to part four.

well, if it makes money, they're gonna make them. why do you think they make all those cookie-cutter movies like feel the noise, stomp the yard, etc.. i swear, it's like one of those madlibs. (insert gender here) named (insert name) goes to (insert name of place) and meets people. he/she joins (insert affiliation) and has fun but then their past catches up and they have to face their problems. everything is resolved in time for the big (insert competition of some type here)

i know that you can say "well, this can apply to any movie plot" but you guys get what i'm trying to prove. the point is, movies are starting to suck. well......have been sucking for a while.

totally off topic: if you want to see a good movie, go see rendition or gone baby gone. i've heard those are excellent. and i just saw dan in real life, and i loved it. it's such a good like, funny love story. don't watch it if you're ready to slash them though or if you don't really like sappy movies.

Personally, the saw movies are better than the Hostel movies. I dunno, the movies like Hostel just piss me off...because it does really happen in RL.

I've seen the first three movies, but I don't think I'll be seeing this one. I feel like, the idea used in this movie(taking people and torturing them and finding out things about Jigsaw) is getting old. An idea can't last that long, especially when it comes to movies.

The Hostel movies are just ridiculous becuase they involve people putting others in terrible situations and killing them directly. And that only accounts for half of the series. The Saw movies, on the other hand, involve people putting others in situations where they must choose to die or choose to be courageous. For that reason, the Saw movies are superior.

tinyjeans

They are superior because there is safety in numbers and soon there will be 37 of them before it's all over with.

I never saw any of the Saw movies but on all the commercials they looked good. From what everyone is saying though, they don't seem to be getting much better.
