Sorry for the third bump but ITS UPDATE TIME!!!!!!!

For my first Rip i would like to introduce the long awaited syphon filters logan shadow which has 6 hours of score by azam ali coming straight from PSP software rip, Which is decoded from the ATRAC3 codec with 94 tracks total. it was really frustrating/time consuming and not easy at all. It also used a special interleaving system which held me up there for awhile. No wonder why no one decided to really try there hand out at this. Anyway enjoy the score.

Next i ripped and upped the complete soundtrack of NFS most wanted. Black edition complete score and Soundtrack with 34 tracks And Decoded From MUS Stream its just like ricks rip which is from the PS2, just organised diffrently. Size is 253MB

And last but not least Spiderman friend or Foe from the PSP software. 108 tracks 157MB and ATRAC wavs decoded.

Thats all people. i know its not much but im currently gonna bring you more rips as i discover new games that need to be ripped. All of these are direct rips, i rarely use line in but i will state it when used for a rip. Im not DVDRick or kataah you know.=)

Time for another OrangeC update.

As you can see i finally got around to uploading this huge rip of scarface which has all the tapeplayer tracks and the full score decoded from Ogg vorbis RSD Encryption.

Next rip is the PS2 rip of GUN with a great score by christopher lennertz, decoded from ADPCM Stream file.

ANd last but not least The full painkiller score with all tracks from the regular edition and expansion battle out of hell straight from the Music folder, isn't that convenient, all games should do this IMHO

I know that my No request rule is up there, but im running short on whats need to be ripped ATM, so i will only take requests when i ask for them, don't want this thread to become like halounderthesuns topic with bombarding requests. So i will be accepting requests ATM.

Nah that was a heavily edited PC rip that was only 58 minutes long, Stupid GRIN taking most of the good stuff. Anyway i think someones already ripped it so i won't bother with it.

like i said before, i`m pretty sure they re-used music from previous moh scores like in moh vanguard and the biggest part of allied assault (15mins of new score,all the rest reused) maybe there will be new score in heroes 2 but i doubt it.

i have the rip.97 mins on 2cds.don�t like it.god i hated the synth tracks in call of duty 3,so cheap sounding.thank god direx eliminated them completely.i don�t think orchestral music is aproblem for the psp.why is the medal of honor heroes score orchestral? (even if its reused) its propably a limited budget problem.they didn�t want to recycle previous music so they decided to go the cheaper way.i don�t like synths.thank god they used a real orchestra for all of duty 4.

like always its electronic but like always its lots of fun.david bergeauds music for the series was always a lot of fun, maybe comparable with john powell.this time the music is a little more dramatic, a little more heroic.well, i would say it was the best piece of r&c music so far.the guy knows how to use his syntheziser without being annoying.

Yes! I've seen dozens of videos but the thing that impressed me the most was the haunting ambient score.

Although you might have to wait until the game comes out later this month. The uncut version doesn't really have a score, according to the games files that i downloaded.

That's not the whole truth. They write the score together, if we're lucky we even get to know who wrote what piece since the demo-music was tagged HGW-tracktitle. And Stephen Barton is Harry Gregson-Williams assistant, like Steve Jablonsky was a long time ago.

what about the ps3 and pc version? maybe easier to rip them?

PS3 hard because it doesn't have audio settings and it would mostly have the same ubisoft encoded files.

PC Its easier because the files are in wavs but its nothing like the console versions at all, they stripped out most of the music and the whole rip is about 28minutes, really suck.

There also is a PSP version of GRAW 2 but I'm not sure if Saltas music is in there.

I checked that too, its nowhere near, sounds like some synth drums, the only one from salta is the menu music.

first I want to congratulate you to your new Gamerip thread - you did really great work. Recently I got your Gamerip of the complete LAIR John Debney score and I really admired your hard work you put in it to preserve this incredible score in such a complete form - it's a real bigbudget score and it shows in the rich orchestrations and London recording sessions. I only came into video game music recently, but have to say that I adore Christopher Lennertz and his scores a lot - I have his FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE and GUN soundtrack. He is a great talent in scoring for the action/adventure genre. And this with a signature style which is his very own - more influenced by the late Jerry Goldsmith than a John Williams. I was able to hear an excerpt of his new WARHAWK score on the Sony/WARHAWK website - surely another great action score from his pen. I really adore his work and cannot await your WARHAWK gamerip - which you will do perfectly as usual. I hope you will have the chance to do this soon. Another great young composer talent is Colin O'Malley - he did great in scoring the SUPERMAN RETURNS video game by choosing a pure original way against the franchise and not simply mimicing John William's style and themes. Just out of curiosity, are all the tracks tagged, or are they just labeled "track 1" etc?

The tracks were in ogg format in the .PACKED file so i just brute ripped thme out throwing the tags out the window. i tried to look for a tool that will unpack .PACKED files while keeping the filenams intact but i couldn't.. But it should all be there. Also the oggs were already 160kbps so it would be useless to recode them into MP3.

Another awesome update OrangeC... Hope you can get Destroy All Humans ripped, been looking for a complete rip of that for along time now...

the simpsons should be awesome cause it allows to score lennerrtz cue of almost every genre,from some crazy japanese jazz to medal of honor style and epic fantasy and much more.(warhawk is one of the greatest actionscores in years)

Dunno, its all packed into an AFS file and i studies it, which contains alot of .vas files. for PS2 it is ADX files.

today I listened to a few music cues from DESTROY ALL HUMANS! at
Gary Schyman's website. Wow! What a great score - it's very much
in the style of Bernard Herrmann and reflects the big orchestral sound
of 50's Science Fiction movies - even Jerry Goldsmith's early work shines through from time to time. I guess in a way it is better than Schyman's DAH! 2 which has more a 60's vibe (of course excellent score too).
OrangeC, I hope you will be successful in ripping the complete score from PS2 or Xbox someday - This Schyman score deserves a presentation of the complete Game score, one of the best orchestral ones. You already did an incredible job on DAH 2! A big thanks for this. (Not to forget Lennertz' MOH: RISING SUN complete game score which can happen someday too and would complement his GUN score and would be a premiere at FFS Forum).

destroy all humans has about an hour of score, so if the rip features that much music nothing is missing.couldn�t check it out yet...

I was thinking the same thing with DAH, its the only music i got out of the big 400MB PKG stream file. the rest were all sounf sfx and voices. I looked in the other streams but those were from levels.

the darkness rip here in galbadia is not bad.the music itself is simply awesome, with choir, heavy metal, jazz, asian style tracks, horror etc.great score!

Can you find the soundtrack to Shadow Ops: Red Mercury. Its made in the UK a bonus disk the UK version, but its hard to find

Is assassins creed coming out for PC? because i know kane and lynch did but thats giving me a headache to rip on PC, another option i think is to line in rip from 360 which should be fairly easy because i have the 360 version.

It's not out for PC YET. They haven't announced a date yet. So I'd say don't expect it until fall 2008, probably.

Yeah the music i reaaallly want to record is the tracks that play when your about to infiltrate the bank, the tokyo club theme And the tractor boss theme. I might put some previews of those tomorrow.

OrangeC, your rips seem to be much better than most others that I find out there. Would it be possible for you to sometime (not really urgently!) do rips of 007 Everything Or Nothing and From Russia With Love? I've got poor quality rips from them currently but hope to turn short "game-arranged" cues into something listenable. Thank you, and it would be great if you could do that. :)

Just finished a fullscore rip of ut3, Those bigfiles were tough, looks like epic changed there algorithm, but i managed to extract the untagged oggs and tag them by sequences of the bigfile list. 152 tracks with 4 hrs of score by jesper kid and dom di prisco.

Expect in next update along with darkness demo 360 rip.

Blacksite is hard to rip because it uses those unreal engine 3 XXX files and i have no idea how to rip those, just like in stranglehold, it also uses fmod thats encrypted into those files. damn.

Scratch the darkness demo rip, because the REAL full darkness game rip is about to become apart of my next update, first got to beat the game to find all the music parts, its a little tricky to rip, but nothing i cant handle.=)

Its also going to be better than the spanish guys rip no doubt.

I will also make two accounts, one public which will have my rips only, and a private one for most elite trusted members and that they can download other shared rips by kataah or dvdrick. Again i don't know how this is gonna turn out since this forum doesn't have any hide tags, but im going to completely wipe my gamerip thread of all links and start running ftp, Also leechers are a major problem here so that really irks me.

I did want to ask if the manhunt 2 rip was ever made, saw mention of it previously but thats it. Just curious. I dont have much to offer in the way of VG soundtracks, but I do have a ton of movie soundtracks, but I do use videogame soundtracks when looking for dark ambient type stuff.

Manhunt 2 was never ripped, i gave up on it. too much ambient and little music.

You don't really need to worry about the UT3 rip. The released soundtrack does it justice pretty much. 2CDs. :D

Not that I know of, I have it open in windows folder so i can drag and drop, it might be that. Im only downloading the Just Cause Rip, im not sure why its logged twice.

You can unpack the oggs with dragon unpacker.

i mean the dat/idx files. multiextractor seems to be the only one that works and it needs to be registered, what did you use?

I started listening to John Debney's Lair score from iTunes and it's really one of my favorite soundtracks from the past year. So I was glad I discovered that you did a full rip with 54 tracks all in high quality.
