Thanks guys. It's not a remix album per say. It's more of a creative project that was inspired by the game and it's original score. It's been around for along time actually.

Complete with a listener's guide and everything. It amazes me to think that you did the first disc all in your high school years (Calculus, huh? I remember those days). Some of your melodies are pretty unconventional, which is refreshing.

The reason I stopped was mainly because there wasn't a demand or appreciation for it. But this year I'm reconsidering, at first because of the re-release of FFT and now because of the recognition you are giving me. It's you kind of people that inspire me to create this stuff. Thank you very much. I did listen to the original The Diaries Of Olan on 2005 I think, and I liked it so much. Pretty nostalgic and sad, I loved some moments of it's songs.

Now I've read this thread and let's see how that The Diaries Of Olan (Composers Edition) sounds and the differences. Thank you very much.

PD: I've keep The Diaries Of Olan since 2005 in my music database, I'll do the same with this one and I'll leave a comment to my friends to keep the sound alive. Now I've readed the .doc and yeah, I realized on 2005 when I first listened to my original The Diaries Of Olan, the Escaflowne passage.

But thanks of the .doc I've found that the edition I've from 2005 is not the original, it's the Expanded Edition, so now I've the Expanded Edition and the Composers Edition. Too bad that I'd it from 2005 but it was released on 2003 (same with this one hehe, but at least we've it now)

And about the mirror yeah, I think somebody could mirror that .zip because we've a good topic about FINAL FANTASY albums all with direct downloads, so somebody should approach this oportunity and add it to the list as the expanded edition was added. I can't do that now because I re-tagged the album when I downloaded it to set the album title and so on.

Andrew, sir, a fine work... what can I say? It's so wonderful to hear something like this, not noisy or bombastic, just lovely simplicity. (And I mean simplicity as a compliment.)

I struggle in the industry - but am slowly clawing my way in... With crappy amateur movie after crappy amateur movie, no budget crap that you do for free, because you just want something on your CV... Ah, don't you just love it?

I have a copy of the original soundtrack by Hitoshi Sakimoto and Masaharu Iwata. This is not the original, but a fan-made arrangement.

Since I love Sakimoto music in general and the Tactics music especialy, I definitely give this a try. Already appreciated :)

I'm a big fan of him too. The Tactics soundtrack is my favorite game soundtrack of all time. I still love Nobuo Uematsu and all his great work, but the Tactics soundtrack never gets old for me. The melodies and motifs are simply brilliant.

Yeah, I checked the links above my post. Mirror Creator is saying that all but one of the links are up, but when you actually click the links, all of them say something to the effect of "This file was either in breach of a copyright holder or deleted by the uploader."

Can't seem to download it, the site says something about how I can only download files I've uploaded personally. Damn, is the result of the mirror sites being scared by these stupid laws or what?

Re-upload (http://forums.ffshrine.org/f72/diaries-olan-composers-edition-re-released-45681/2.html#post1581448) of "Expanded" and "Composer" editions. Usually you would only need the latter one.

Must be some kind of country-related block, because he's right. I've just downloaded both albums from Scha's MediaFire links.

It appears to have to do with the redirection site. Anonym.to redirects me to an error page, but Final Fantasy Tactics The Diaries of Olan Composers Edition.rar (http://www.mediafire.com/?9b6bgvbeg61x5gs) works just fine...
