Are any songs on the Image album on the other albums?

Is my recollection that in Japan Image albums mean songs that were inspired by the film or vice versa but were not actually used in the film?

The Image-Album was craeted before, the finishing of the movie. Joe Hiashi interpretation of the artworks, some of the themes was not included to the movie, original soundtrack. 3,5,9 was not used in the movie.

sorry to disagree! but track 9 is in the movie, but in a alternated version but its the same iff you listen. oi think its track 13 or 14. the music when San is on the roof and starts running to take lady eboshi's life.

I love joe hisaishi soundtracks, and i must say this is one of my favorite. And also my favorite movie of LORD MIYAZAKI. ^^

just for curiosity: Image Albums are like promo or...samplers, of songs that can appear in the movie or series. in joe hisaishi case, he he creates a tone or theme, but in the final project he can take the same ideias but throug a diferent level. You can see (hear) that clearly on tatari gami of the image album and the one on the movie ost. same theme, but in diferent tones.
another example is that you have the image album of Gunnm, and just one vocal music is in the ova, BUT...another vocal song is in the cd drama hen Another Story but with a diferent singer, the same as in cyborg mermaid.
it's just a kind of explanation of What Is A Image Album?

i've seen the movie more then 30 times and know all musics in wich places they belong! but still, symphonic suite of mononoke hime is the one wich made me fall of surprise! ^^

So there's no song on the Image album that appears on the other 2 albums?--more specifically, there may be similarities, but not exact same song, is that correct?

I just noticed your "Mononoke Hime Original Soundtrack" has 33 tracks which is one track more than the American release according to Amazon.com's listing. Is that right or does Amazon have the tracklisting wrong again?

There used to be this "Womens' Worksong Techno Remix" floating about, does anyone still have that? I know it's not on any official soundtracks (as far as I know) but I would love to have that again. Haven't heard it since I formatted my HDD back in 2002 or so. >.<

For some reason when I try to download the files MU cuts it off almost immediately. Is that because I do not have a subscription and I am limited to under 100MB files, whereas the albums are slightly over 100MB? There's nothing wrong with the links that I can tell.
