how to get Vaan in sky pirate's den? I only got balthier, basch, penelo, fran, ashe, gurdy, vossler, vayne, carrot, death gaze, gilgamesh, reks, fabnir, chocobo, and montblanc. Are there still other characters that we could get and how to get it?

Behemoth King - Lord of the Kings - defeat mark Behemoth King.
Trickster - Sharpshooter - defeat mark Trickster.
Fafnir - Wyrmslayer - defeat mark Fafnir.
Hell Wyrm - Radiant Saviour - defeat Hell Wyrm *8 million HP*
Yiazmat - Hunter Extraordinaire - defeat Yiazmat *50 million HP*

IIRC, you don't get much of anything. It's just a pre-requisite to fighting Yiazmat.

I read that you get a lot of gil from Montblanc. I've never actually tried to beat Hell Wyrm though. It has an insane amount of HP.

50,000 gil, iirc. It probably wasn't worth it.

I guess it doesn't matter ATM, I lost. He was down to like only 10 more dots (out of like 80-100) but then he started going insane and stopped using invert so i couldn't get MP, he's hard when you're level 56. Well, that was about 2 1/2 hours wasted on fighting him. 50,000 gill seems like a small reward...

Actually, doesn't hellwyrm have, in addition to Rake, like, 2 big attacks that are light and dark based? Just swap your helmets when he starts to use them (black/white masks, IIRC). You're health will be fine.

For MP, my strategy when fighting Yiazmat was to have my damage dealer/tank learn the warmage license (or whatever it's called - the one that gives you MP when you deal damage). Cast Haste - and if you can afford to lose control, berserk - on the DD(s). Then have your spellcasters/healers use osmose on the DD. Your MP should hold up pretty well.

I'm only a level 56, i don't have the white and black masks, and the only attacks i've seen him use are rake, invert, judgement and some petrification rake. None of which are light or dark based anyways...And what's osmose? It's not on the license board. And i have all the licenses that give me MP and they don't give me enough. That strategy doesn't work with me because all my guys are attackers and healers. And haste is a given.
