Ah, the wonders of the Internet.

Its good, my favorite tracks are probably Two Last Hopes, Mercury, and Trey.

John Murphy/Underworld did an amazing job on this one.

Is it just me or is anybody else having difficulty getting this to download? Either get file not found or page cannot be displayed error messages.

Nawh, works for me. I'll try uploading it to another site but I'm at work till 9pm and I'm going out for drinks after work so sometime early afternoon Sunday there should be an alternate download site.

It isn't official though. It's great rip off an audio track on a dvd but not the official release. Still, better than nothing until the official one is released.

Yeah, I noticed that last night after my 20th listen through.

I don't think it detracts from the overall sound. Like in the Trey track I like that you can hear the birds in the background.

It's still an amazing rip though. It's pretty much perfect quality. There's only a few very minor imperfections.

Edit 2: Wow, I feel reborn to this genre... It's one of my favorite genres, I love sleeping, making abstract digital pictures, and other relaxing things to this -- it's very inspirational... Listening to The Icarus I track right now... It's absolutely outstanding!

I'm out of words........ I've heard a lot of ambient/space/industrial dark ambient etc. type of music but this is without a doubt one of the best ever. I have a feeling all tracks will basically be as good as The Icarus I. Wow.

Pretty good movie and great soundtrack. I really enjoyed how diverse the cast was and how there was not a single romance scene. Quite a refershing movie. Thanks for the share.

Thanks for the unofficial OST. Does anyone know if there are plans for an official release of the soundtrack? It was just released on DVD and BD so I would guess if not by now, then never.

There was a recent interview with a producer and the soundtrack did come up.

The short answer:

It is stuck and there are no plans to release.

I love it when studios will release soundtracks with rock bands that have NOTHING to do with the film (I'm looking at you Saw series) but when it gets time to release the original musical score they say "Awh, screw it." (Saw IV, Death Sentence, Sunshine)

Yeah, I don't get it. It's absolutely absurd. I honestly would never get a soundtrack with artists or mainstream stuff. The score is always so much better and more important.

Except for The Beach, that movie had both a really nice Score and Soundtrack. Although of course the score is more memories, the soundtrack was incorporated nicely into the movie where some melodies (i.e. Underworld) felt almost instrumental and fit really well and felt like a score.
