Good thread cuz I just thought about it today.... It would be about a modern castle where a princess lives... It`s a normal life in a normal country, some people practice shamanism, some magic, there are summoners and stuff like that... One day as usual singing at her opera class princess sees a strange man with long black hair... Soon she realizes that it`s a son of a previous castle master who was exiled for an unknown reason... Then she starts chasing him around the castle and finally manges to talk with him. I wont spoil what`s next... I can only say that there are two kids of this "previous castle master" they`re twins, one is a girl and other is a boy...

The second type of RPG I`d like to make is a FFVIII sequel... It would be something about otherworld... It would start about five years after the events of FFVIII... Rinoa would disappear into "another world" and then by a mistake there would be a girl called "Rio" transferred into this world in the place of Rinoa. She would have every feeling for Squall and the others that Rinoa had... When Squall meets her he realizes that this is his Rinoa "calling"... Later he would start a journey to find out more about this, and finally realize that all that could be left of his Rinoa is Rio... He falls in love with her and here you go with the happy ending...

POKEMON LEATHER AND POKEMON SILK ONLY FOR THE NINTENDO DS2

That would be better than any MMO game.

Yeah I would totally make a Pokemon MMO. Think about the art style of world of warcraft and the mobs that run around it. You would start off in a small starting zone, with basic poke'mon such as: Weedles, Pidgeys, ect. Now, you as the trainer wouldn't level up just like in the normal games. You would ofcourse start with 1 of 9 or so pokemon from the Red/blue/silver/gold/ruby/saphire. You would eventually establish a team of 6 pokemon to run around beating NPC gym leaders in an instance like style zone. While you travel and quest you will run into wild pokemon on the world map along with other trainers. These trainers can do a /duel ect and then you would engage in combat.

After you collect all 8 badges from the first continent you then can complete in an instance type tournement bracket. This would be considered end game. After you hit the level cap and do this tournement for whatever rewards you head to the next continent and find new pokemon to train/fight ect and more gym leaders.

Process repeats for more lands ect, you will be able to party with members to challenge new foes, do 2v2 pokemon battles ect.

Basically, it would be friggin amazing!

Are you a Devry student trying to scrape up the ideas of other people for fear of your future security?

MMO nonetheless, Cross platform if you must.

POKEMON LEATHER AND POKEMON SILK ONLY FOR THE NINTENDO DS2

Funniest remark I've heard all day.

I'd much rather a RPG that strings together the life of the critically-acclaimed movie director, Uwe Bolle. I would pay to buy that.

RPG, I don't care for Massively-multiplayer Masturbation Online games. Nope, no thank you.

MMOs don't seem to have a real point. Lots of grinding to a raid that takes 5 hours that really don't progress the story any further. I can't really devote that much time according to clan schedules.

Either or. MMO's I like to just fuck around with no real motive with friends. As for a single player RPG, I'll play that because I love stories.

I tried MMOs, for some reason, I just couldn't do it. ANTI SOCIAL? Perhaps. Maybe after nine years of dial up I'm paranoid, even now with my cable internet. |: Who knows.

RPGs, plz.

I know what you mean Shachou. I've been through AOL 1.0-9.0.

I had DSL in my household 2 years ago and now where I live we have Cable. I can still hear the dial-up noises!!! ARGH!!!

If they could make a good MMO game, I might consider buying it.

May I ask which game you are referring to?

I'm referring to the old-school MMORPGs of the type that were built around their communities and spat in the face of the strict linearity MMOs these days are all plagued by. My best MMO days were spent playing Ultima Online and Asheron's Call (before changes in ownership and crap like that ruined them).

Yeah, I really would like to get into one, but none have really captured my interest. Any word on upcoming MMORPGs that show promise?

Elder Scrolls MMORPG. If done right, I would come. Multiple times.
