Any recommendations? Preferably not crossing into the hentai genre. I would prefer some tasteful romantic elements and decent artwork. I just don't know where to start.

are all definitively Boy's Love, but none of them feature anything too heavy. Romance rather than romping. Good stories as well; they shouldn't be too hard to find.

i saw gravitation not knowing it was gonna be that type of anime. and i found it sick a lot of times. but at the end, i was like 'OMFG GET TOGETHER ALREADY!' lol

i'm not sure if anime on demand took it off, or if it really was the last episode. but it somewhat left me hanging though and i really wanted to see if they were really gonna end up together after that whole dissapearing thing.


other than that. i'd prolly never watch yaoi intentionally. O_o

you should join a yaoi group and than ask there. it's more likely you will get good answer on the subject.

good point and i agree, if it wasn't for the story, i would have never been as hooked as i was. :p

yaoi generally is hardcore, so what you're looking for is shouen ai/BL/whateverpeoplewannacallit ^^
Just cause some people get pretty jumpy when you say "yaoi" .. its silly really. xD
Okay, dont know if someone's mentioned it, but Yami no Matsuei (Descendants of Darkness in English) has BL to it. It's pretty good. It's about shinigami and portrays them almost like detectives, who have partners, and solve the more "unnatural" deaths, or end the lives of those who've escaped death. It's 13 episodes, and you should actually still be able to find this on youtube and veoh.
Sukisyo is also pretty good. All the characters in this show are male (seriously, not a female in sight o.o) and if that would get on your nerves, you might not wanna watch it. Still, its pretty cute. : )

ya looking at a Yaoi fan site would be best to find out what is good because most of the time... they post pictures... and explain what is going on...

Fake is an excellent Yaoi Manga. Its more of a love story than a porno, by far.
Love Mode is also pretty good, if you don't mind the constant sex.
Golden Cain and Only the Ring Finger Knows are both EXCELLENT Manga. From what I remember, there's very little sex.

EDIT: I would suggest staying away form things like Gravitation or Eerie Queerie. I started to read both, but lost interest. Gravitation is very dramatic. It gets really confusing and unreal.

Eerie Queerie is good at the beginning, and then sort of fades. Give it a shot if you're interested, but it's not at the top of my list.

i recommend Junjou Romantica its not heavy and its new.I havent haad anyone who hasnt liked it so im guessing u will
