The Final Fantasy games based in Ivalice seem to be very popular as of late. The only problem is that Ivalice will soon be left with only a few areas left to explore...
How many more FF games based in Ivalice do you think SE will come out with (besides the new Tactics games and Revenant Wings)?

The final fantasy games set in Ivalice did seem to get popular after XII but I think Final Fantasy: Tactics Advance 2 and Final Fantasy: Revenant Wings will be the last FF games set in Ivalice.

Not that I wouldn't enjoy more games being set there it just seems like enough is being done in it already and they don't need anymore.

Thats True. But lately, Square has been enjoying repeating themselves with all the FF remakes, so they might continue with ivalice, but who knows.

Thank you very much; I am the creator. My driver's license says I am Andrew James Thomas. Did you manage to nab the two disc special edition I released last year. Screen shot of the cover is in my icon.

It went out of circulation pretty fast. I know I've seen a couple hardcore collectors list it in their set. It's a 2 disc collectors limited edition and I had only set it out for a limited time. The first disc is the expanded release of Diaries of Olan with the two bonus +tracks. "Delita's Sorrow Suite" and "Diaries of Olan Piano Suite". The second disc is basically an easter basket. It contains orchestrated pieces, draft recordings and extended tracks, also goof recordings and two completely new pieces done with a live orchestra. The CD also contains many pieces of conceptual art for the CD set and from the original release. All of it packaged nicely with a new cover, which is presented in a small screenshot form (my avatar).

I would be happy to upload this sometime, granted I had the free time and someone offered the space. Until then, happy hunting!

I wouldn't recommend on SE doing any more games in Ivalice, although I wouldn't mind if they did. The FF games are losing their unique-ness because of all the remakes, spin-offs, etc.

I thoroughly enjoyed Final Fantasy Tactics back in the day when it was first released. The gameplay was strategical and the music was spectacular. However I think they could have made some improvements such as the many in-game typos and mistakes they had floating around (i.e. "Defeat Dycedarg's Elder Brother"). I enjoyed FFTA however I felt that it was too kiddied down to really be considered a "true" sequel to the original, it was still a good game and I am hoping the Sealed Grimoire will be just as good (if not better). All-in-all I think that the updated FFT: War of Lions will be pretty successful in its own right.

They'll make more games in the series. Metacritic.com/games has a higher review aggregate for the new updated PSP version of FF Tactics than they had for the original PS 1 version of FF Tactics by the way.

New version has:
Anime cutscenes
Voice acting
New job
New characters
New story/battles
New items/equipment
Increased character party limit
Multiplayer mode

Gargh! I want this game! :D
Anyways, after FF T A2 comes out in the USA, let's look for an announcement for some type of sequel. Maybe something related to Vagrant Story(it would be about time!) :D

Yeah I think that FF will expand more into the world of Ivalice. I mean it's really the first time that any FF world spilled out into more than one game, and they did it well. SO yeah I definitely think that if they made more games, that they would do themselves a favor by creating some lore to keep it interesting. Would be even better if they tied in the stories somehow.

I may sound a bit biased, and excuse me for coming off as antagonistic - but I dare say, return to Midgard.

Edit: While not following the FFVII story line.
