It means you're in a queue - the person you are downloading from has all their download slots full. Depending on the queue length (right click file, click "Get Place IN Line" to find out where you are) this could take a very, very long time. I've been sitting in queues for more than 24 hours in the past. It all depends on how bad you want it... ;)

Most of the time it doesn't take that long to get through a line... it really just depends on the download speed of the other people in front of you.

I used it a few times in the past..

I guess Soul Seek can be good to find General Music, you can find lots of Film scores & soundtracks since there are many channels for this...

But what about VGM (Video Game Music)..? There's a very old chan called VGM but there's nothing good to find there, and any "general" search that's not about FF or Zelda do not find anything..

How can find soundtracks if you can't find results from search from poeple that share their stuff privately ?
Are you gonna ask everyone in a chan to be put in their "list" ?

What is a good method to find VGM on Soul Seek nowadays ? I mean.. to find not only classic licences..?

I hate people that only let list-users download from them... all my stuff on there is up for grabs by anyone who finds it.

Every now and then someone's on there who has something good and isn't a complete dick about it, though.

I know, there's a real sense of arrogance amongst many Soulseekers...

Some of us do have a bandwidth limit, however.

I gave everyone access to my 'My Rips & Encodes' folder for about a month or so and there were ten to twenty people leeching off of me per day, so I could only imagine the dozens of users downloading from me if I shared everything I had. I have 30,000 files in my shares.

I should have been more clear... people with bandwidth issues are fine. It's those people (and trust me, there's tons of them) who ban people from downloading from them for no reason.

It really depends on the situation i guess..

I would also ban someone leeching on me IF this person is not sharing files at all, or nonsense crap.

I tend to send a private message every time to the user when i found a few albums i would like to take, asking if it's ok to take them at all..
Since many does not like to transfer 40 albums in a raw to the same person.

My advice is to always look the user information before downloading too much.

Anyway i uninstalled soulseek months ago since i could not find "rarities" anymore..
Seems like board communities is a better option for VGM at least.
