There isn't realy a time limit before u faint. Cauze there is a spot where u always faint (I guess). But i've u've fainted u always can return to the hot spring and take some water again and again and again.........................

<font color=red face="comic sans ms">Yeah, I don't think there is a set time limit for how long it is before you faint, it is just in certain locations or after you have done certain things.

Oh, and you don't need to touch the hot springs again after you faint. As long as you touch them once, you won't have to do it again. After you faint it is easy to get to Alexander. Go down from the old man's house into the middle of the snow field, and go into the cave there to get an All materia. Come out of the cave and go directly right (using the poles to help you when the wind turns you). Once out of the snow field, go right for 3 screens, and the cave with Alexander in will be on that next screen. :)

It's funny cuz before u get the Alexander materia u'll have to fight Snow though the music changes to a boss song, Snow doenst count as a boss.

Well, it's like this. You faint if your temp drops to 24 degrees and then you go back to Warden.

That's tru but in hasn't anything to do with getting the Alexander summon.

True, but it will help later on. If you're good at FF7, you should find it in time.

You can always go back later if you cant be arsed. You dont need Alexander for anything after the snow field, its all relatively easy from then on to Jenova.

He looks pretty cool and it is the only Holy attack in the game that u can use.

Im pretty sure Restore magic is Holy too.

<font color=red face="comic sans ms">Restore magic is NOT holy elemental. Healing magic does not have an element. The elements are Fire, Ice, Thunder, Earth, Gravity, Water, Wind, Poison and Holy; all of these elements are used for attacking. Curative magic is non-elemental. :)

Alexander is the only Holy attack you can use.

*spoiler*

Aeris has Holy materia, but you can never equip it. She uses it to pray to the planet in order to save the planet from Sephiroth and the Black Materia, you can never use it.

In FF7 healing is not a Holy attack (well uhm attack....) but i've played a lot of other games and some magics do have healing (like in Age of Wonders water magic provides healing) and so alot of other games. It just depends on what the creators of the game use for mythology.
