HEAD OF NEW UPDATES

Today, at Microsoft's pre-Tokyo Game Show press conference, the company announced that Lost Odyssey will be released in Japan on December 6 for 6800 yen. The game is currently 95% complete but will not be playable during TGS, though Sakaguchi did play through a bit onstage. They also mentioned that they would be holding a concert for the game in November, where the game will be playable.

In other Asian areas, the game will be released in January 2008, while both North America and Europe must wait until February 2008. Stay tuned to RPGamer for new details as the Tokyo Game Show grows ever closer.

Gah! I was worried about this because they weren't announcing a date. I'll be done with Final Fantasy XII within a month, then will beat Alundra 1 in a months time, then I can get to work on Mass Effect when it comes out on November 20th. Too bad I have to wait for Lost Odyssey! :D

Well, so much for having an in-time-for-Christmas release overseas. Ah well, life goes on.

I posted this also on forums.eyesonff.com but nobody replied. Here I get only one reply. Am I the only person who likes this game? I think Lost Odyssey is going to be amazing, not sure why it isn't more popular.

I'll finish playing FF XII(25 hours left) next, then I'll beat Alundra 1(25 hours) and then Mass Effect on November 20th(Maybe 75 hours?). I wonder what date Lost Odyssey will come out in February, maybe February 25th?

Blue Dragon & Lost Odyssey Orchestra Concert is held in Japan on November 17. (Mon). It was announced in the bulletin of the Nobuo Uematsu fan club. Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey are very important titles for Mistwalker. The meaning of the advertisement is probably included, too.

Gah! How come I don't live in Japan?! I'm upset. By the way, I should have learned Japanese in high school instead of Spanish I think. Some of my family is Hispanic but they speak English also so it wasn't necessary to learn Spanish.

I should have learned Japanese instead! :)
