Of course I used your rip. It's the best source we got. But I used also the official soundtrack, which is free for download at the 2k website, because there are two ore three titles in there, which are suprisingly not in your rip, or not in this orchestration. "Welcome to Rapture" for example ...

This is pretty damn great....fitting song titles, too!

Valiant effort even though about half of the 60 or so minutes you have here is simply repeated over and over and over. Also, I find it strange that you name Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker as "Cohen's Masterpiece."

I didn't repeat the tracks. Thats the way they are in the game. Sometimes there is repetition but also variation. So it's not always the same ...

You didn't play the game, don't you? Play the game and you will know, why I called it "Cohens Masterpiece" ...

Interestingly, there's a track named "Cohens Masterpiece" on the official score from 2K aswell..

I know. For my album I use the gamerip from OrangeC AND the official soundtrack, because there are tracks which never appear in the rip. "Cohens Masterpiece" is one of them.

I decided to unite the whole "Cohen" Level into two music tracks, which I named after the track from the official soundtrack ...

I MADE IT!!!!!!

The third part of my "Bioshock" selfmade album is now finished and will be availible in few hours.
It contains six new tracks, 32 minutes length alltogether. The whole album has now 96 minutes of edited score extracted from the great rip of "Orange C".

Hey. First time here, but have always enjoyed the Galbadia Hotel site.

I'm actually quite stunned that this is a custom soundtrack. The variety between the more interesting orcheastral pieces and the mix-in with the licensed audio tracks are spectacular. My sister just got the game earlier in the week and I've been looking for a solid Bioshock soundtrack. Granted, the selection found off the Cult Of Rapture website was great, but it's pretty obvious that they were trying to tiptoe around the licensed stuff. I can truly thank OrangeC for "Papa Loves Mambo" and "How Much Is That Doggie In The Window", among a ton of the more ambient rips from the game. But combining the Waltz Of The Flowers with the original Cohen's Masterpiece track...It just beautiful.

But it's that usage of the "Beyond The Sea" instrumental at the end that ties the entire thing together. Without spoiling anything, it actually conveys a better sense of 'farewell' than the in-game ending does. Very moody, very good choice.

Okay, enough of playing music critic. But be proud in knowing that you've made a better custom soundtrack than 2K did.

Not that I blame 2K, honestly. I mean...they probably weren't even allowed to release a good chunk of this stuff.

But you stood up to the task remarkably. Congratulations, and have a happy new one.

It took quite a while to make this OST. Thanx to "OrangsC" who ripped everything of the fine music I had a lot of source material to edit tgis one. That was a lucky situation.

More than 2 years after the release of this great selfmade album, people still get excited by it! Very well Direx, the ambientation and the edition are fantastic. Thank to you for this piece of work and to OrangeC for the rip.
