Hi hi hi. I had FF7 for a long time and recently my friend convinced me to play it the other day. Anyway . .

This is for the Playstation, using the ps2 to play it. I'm still on disc 1 at the part where you go to Junon for the first time. When I walk into Junon, the music on the overworld screen still plays, but the entire screen goes black as it repeatedly plays this "beep beep" noise every once in a while.

The disc has down to no scratches, and the Ps2 is damn well near taken care of. Not only this, but my friend and I were playing at the same time and he too is having the same issue, though his is just after entering Junon.

I really hope to hear some solutions, because I just got into the game and it sucks not being able to beat it because of some lameass error. .

that usualy means insirt the next disk, it may sound stupid but its tru man, see how ff7 works is it switches off from disk to disk on some parts because the story isnt in order all the way threw, some of the flashbacks from disk one may be on disk 2 >an excample<. try switching the disk kk, oh now i have a question, i just became a member her, so how do i put a pick up with my posts?

It's strange. I was heading to Gold Saucer and when I got on the pulley, it showed Cloud in a wheelchair falling into green stuff with Tifa. Suddenly I'm at Gold Saucer. xD

im glad it worked well for you man, im here to help if ya need it. yeah i dont like the part when cloud is stuck in the life stream, its kinda iritating but its manditory, so how did your friends go?

i dont really know why it isnt happining to theres but it may be the disk set you have, when ff was made there where s few unfinished copys put into the stores and you just happen to have one, but its no biggy, mine was the same way and i finished the game fine. yeah the scene with tifa and cloud falling into he lifstream is kinda interesting, but i think you actully get to play with tifa as the lead in that part of the game (its beena while sence i played so i may b wrong) i like the part when your in goldensaucer and you use barret to fight dean (i dont know if you got that far yet so i dont want to ruin it for you) but im sure you'l have fun lol just make sure you have enuff potions lol

the game was supposed to show a cut scene of you trollying into gold saucer, but instead it played another cut scene that was supposed to be shown at a different point in the game. hopefully this isnt the first time youve played cuz it kind of spoils things.

Naw, not using the slim one. Using the fat one with an HDD and a Network adaptor.

Now my game is just getting ridiculous. I can't enter some towns (Costa Del Sol, Junon in the first half, Cosmo Canyon) Without having to switch to disc 2 and then back to 1. xD

Just getting a lot of wrong AMVs being played while occasionally having monsters (like that big purple monster after opening the safe in Shinra Mansion) freeze up entirely without making a move to attack.

My friend got past Junon no problem after inserting disc 2 and reinserting disc1 after jumping into another area past Junon, but he hasn't been having the same issues that I have been.

I laughed when Barret said "Look a shooting star!" Or something like that, and a movie of a war painted plane goes flying past. XD

are you sure you have the right disk? U had the NTSC-US edition right?

Yes, I own the NTSC U/C Greatest Hits version.

im outa answers for you man, thats crazy, its never happend to me. after i switched the disk back to #1 the game played thru. but i didnt have a greatest hits set tho

bust out that old psx and give it a shot again, thats what i do. i noticed when i put old ps games in my ps2 that were actually made before ps2 was i would get that disc read error thing but they would always work fine in ps1.

its fucked. your game is not working in proper order. try a ps1.
